As part of the 40 Days of Witnessing and Devotion, the Women’s Federation for World Peace held a one-day seminar entitled “Ideal Family and Pure Love” on August 12, 2023 at Finca Armonía y Paz, Monseñor Nouel. 56 guests and 11 staff, a total of 67 people including 10 professors, 7 psychologists, 5 pastors, and other professionals from different areas of knowledge participated.
The seminar was held at the Harmony and Peace farm, starting at 10 am. The opening remarks was given by the master of the ceremony, Mrs. Roxana Carvajal, wife of the national leader. After this the opening prayer by Pastor Marta Labour. Then, the vice president of the women’s federation in the Dominican Republic, Yumiko Yamaguchi de Gomez, gave welcoming remarks and thanked all the participants for their presence.
Pastor Juan Mateo Vilorio gave words of greetings and motivation and thanked the women’s federation for having him present at this event. Pastor Vilorio highly praised all the work have been done by WFWP centering on Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, mother of peace.
Mr. Bernardo Cruz, president of the Federation of Families for world peace in the Dominican Republic gave a lecture on the creation of the ideal family for a world of peace. After this lecture which continued for around 70 minutes, the MC led the questions and answers and reflections session.
It was extraordinary to see how the participants thanked the WFWP for inviting them to listen to such an extraordinary education program. They felt that without a doubt by putting all the lessons into practice, we will surely create the world of peace for which Mother Moon, the mother of peace, is working so hard to make it happen.
After lunch, Mrs. Carmen Belliard, president of the Department of blessed families in the Dominican Republic and coordinator of the WFWP activities in Santo Domingo West, gave a lecture entitled “pure love and sexual purity”. Mrs. Carmen captivated the attention of all the participants for an hour with her heartfelt words. This motivated the participants to make comments, ask questions and make contributions to this event.
A middle school teacher said that these two lectures should be given at all the schools and institutions in the Dominican Republic.
In the end, all the participants pledged to be multipliers of the ideals of the women’s federation centered on Mother Moon.
And WFWP Dominican Republic recognized several leaders who were among the participants for their great community work in the different institutions to which they belong.
