On July 16, 2023, IAYSP Burkina Faso conducted a character education program for the youth and 12 people participated. The event took place in Ouagadougou.
The first lecture was given by Divine Kwang Hée KABORE, the president of the YSP Burkina Faso. After that, we had the first three chapters of the Character education addressed by Wilfried Pang Il Diarra, sub-regional president YSP.
After the lectures, we had a discussion session during which participants were able to express their Hearts. They then committed to continue this program until the end.
This education program helped our youth to look beyond themselves, understating deeply that on the path to becoming a good man and woman we need to go beyond ourselves and think about others and live for others, serve others without any expectation to receive back. Knowing and understanding that the true joy comes from the selfless act of life, they promised to make efforts in their daily life to live for others without waiting to receive anything back.
IAYSP Burkina Faso will continue to help the youth, by holding many more character education sessions each week until they finish all the chapters till they are ready to go to the next level. We will then start divine principle lectures for them so that they can be able to understand the true meaning of life.
