On July 8, 2023, UPF-Santa Cruz, together with Fundación Familia Rural, National Deputy Walthy Mauricio Egüez Paz, President of the Social Policy Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, and the Association of Women for World Peace Filial Santa Cruz, carried out a Service Activity Social for the communities of Citanos, Alto Citanos, Chujlla and Toco of the Vallegrande Province of the Department of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
During this event, medical attention was provided to the population of the aforementioned communities, and medicines, toys for children, quilts, and food were delivered.
The General Secretary of UPF-Santa Cruz, Dr. Richard Jiménez, spoke to participants on the topic of “Family, school of Love”. After his lecture, we hold a Holy Wine Ceremony and blessing prayer for all the participants. The general secretary of UPF Bolivia led the ceremony.
At this time when our True Mother is asking us to testify about Heavenly Parent and True Parents and help to create and expand ideal families around the world, we have shared Holy Wine with all individuals and Families of the communities. The couples renewed their marriage vows and singles pledged to maintain their sexual purity.
Reflections
Gil Cuellar: We received the quilts and food during the event from the organizer of the event, and we also renewed our wedding vows. It was a very beautiful and amazing day. But when I think, it is true that many times we forget our commitment to care for our partner and family.
Miriam Villagómez: all the people were very grateful. During this event, we not only received physical food but also spiritual food. Also as we are remote communities, we usually do not have access to medical attention. But this time, the doctors came and gave us medicine. The talk during this event nourished our spirit and we are grateful for that.
