The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification–Philippines, in partnership with the Hyojeong Cheonbo Training Center–Asia Pacific, held the 2023 Hyojeong Cheonbo Asia Pacific Special Philippines Event on May 27–28, 2023 in the FFWPU Philippines National Headquarters. With the theme, “Purify and Heal: Mind, Body and Soul,” the event aims to provide the participants with physical and spiritual wellness by eliminating negative energy, inviting good fortune, and improve relationships through the Ancestor Liberation and Blessing, Chanyang Yeoksa (Healthy Clapping), and the Offering of Wish Fulfillment Papers. A total of 436 attendees from different districts of State 1 and nearby areas participated, along with online participants who joined online via Zoom.
The Cheonbo Family Education Program was the first day of the special event. It opened with an orientation and a Chanyang Yeoksa session, followed by a video presentation entitled “The Grace of Cheon Shim Won.” Dr. Leo Angelo Halog, the National President of FFWPU Philippines, greeted the participants in his welcome remarks. Also there to grace the event were Mr. Alberto Flores, the District IV Action Officer of the Office of the Mayor, who came to represent Hon. Josefina Belmonte, the Mayor of Quezon City, and Dr. In Cheon Kim, the President of HJ Cheonbo Asia Pacific and the General Secretary of HJ Cheonbo Korea.
Dr. Kim reminded the participants of their roles and responsibilities as central figures in the providence of restoration in his opening remarks. He also guided the participants that through repentance and prayer devotion, we can become pure gold that Heaven can deal with directly and encouraged them to pour their sincerity and devotion toward the great resurrection and revival in the Philippines.
The afternoon session of the first day consisted a Chanyang Yeoksa session, two (2) HJ Cheon Bo Special Lectures: 1) The Grace of Cheonbo Providence by Rev. Edgar Tanate, the Special Lecturer of HJ Cheonbo Asia Pacific; and 2) First Comes Witnessing, Second Comes Witnessing, and Third is also Witnessing by Dr. In Cheon Kim, a lecture, “Cheon Shim Won Night Prayer Devotion by Rev. Edgar Tanate, and a special message delivered by Rev. Ronnie Sodusta, the President of the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace-Asia Pacific 2.
On the second day, the 2023 Asia Pacific Cheonbo Special Workshop, participants gathered for a Chanyang Yeoksa session to start off the morning program. Rev. Masaichi Hori, the Regional President of FFWPU Asia Pacific, gave a special message and conveyed the significance of Cheonbo works in this providential time.
Thereafter, the Dedication of the HJ Offering Papers was conducted, led by Dr. Leo Angelo Halog. This was followed by a Chanyang Yeoksa session, in conjunction with the Ancestor Liberation Ceremony, and the Ancestor Blessing was carried out in the afternoon. 58 participants applied for the Ancestor Liberation.
With the special grace and heavenly fortune brought by the HJ Cheonbo Great Works, representative participants came forward to share testimonies and life-changing experiences of how they received tremendous blessings from Heaven and expressed their love and gratitude to Heavenly Parent and True Parents, as well as their ancestors and absolute good spirits, for guiding and protecting them through the years.
The 2-Day Hyojeong Cheonbo Asia Pacific Special Philippines Event concluded with newfound inspiration and healing as the leaders and participants offer their sincerity and dedication all throughout; during the Chanyang Yeoksa sessions, special lectures, and prayers of jeongseong in the Cheon Shim Won. The special event will continue to visit the other States and regions in the Philippines within the year.
