FFWPU Côte d’Ivoire, Rev. Beugre
Since True Parents’ call to educate the 43 couples, my wife and I have been doing our best to get it done!
That’s why, with True Mother crying in Korea recently that she doesn’t see our results, my wife and I are trying to get back on the witnessing track, and our witnessing track is our tribe.
In our tribe, given the chieftaincy’s leadership problems, we organized a prayer vigil to support peace in the village. The women of our organization also decided to organize a Mother’s Day. So June 17 and 18, 2023, were chosen to carry out these two activities.
On June 17th, 2023, at around 21:00 pm GMT, a two-hour prayer vigil was held for the tribe of Rev Beugré and his wife. Our movement’s pastor Zézé was called in to preach and talk about True Parents and their teachings during the vigil!
The choir from Abidjan also supported the vigil with their music, so we had a good turnout. And at the end, I explained to the people the benefits of the blessing and how they too could take part. We took the names of those who took part in the vigil and will now contact them to testify. It was a great opportunity to explain the divine principle in the public square to a larger number of people.
The next day we invited them to our tribal temple for Mother’s Day at 09:00 AM GMT. Worship was given to these guests before continuing with the Mother’s Day celebration. The village chief was represented, and Ambassadors for Peace were present, along with women from the FFPMU and numerous guests. A message was given by Pastor Provincial Koman Claude, and songs, dances, and poems were sung for the mothers.
The godmother Mme Kokola presented flowers to all the mothers present, and the mothers danced in honor of Our True Mother, the first woman in the world. Afterward, a cocktail was offered by the organizing committee at the godmother’s residence. It was a wonderful party. And the women have already started thinking about the tribe’s Mother’s Day Edition 2024.
