Appreciation Ceremony of President Demian and Mrs. Yumiko Dunkley
The Appreciation Ceremony held on June 17, 2023, for President Demian Dunkley and Mrs. Yumiko Dunkley in the Heavenly Asia Pacific region was a heartfelt event attended by nearly 600 leaders and members. The ceremony commemorated their exceptional contributions and leadership over two years and seven months in Asia Pacific Region 1. The program included moving songs, prayers, and a video tribute showcasing their tireless efforts and impactful initiatives during their tenure. Representative leaders from various subregions expressed their appreciation, highlighting the profound impact President Demian had on uniting members with True Mother and emphasizing the lessons learned under his guidance.
President Masaichi Hori, the new Regional President of Heavenly Asia Pacific, spoke passionately about his brotherhood relationship with President Demian and expressed his gratitude for the unity achieved. Special performances from talented groups within the region were also showcased. President Demian and Mrs. Yumiko Dunkley shared heartfelt farewell messages, expressing their gratitude to True Parents and the members for their support and dedication. President Demian acknowledged the challenges faced during his mission in Asia and emphasized the need for growth and alignment with True Mother’s values, urging unity and resonance with the new leadership.
The ceremony concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony symbolizing shared achievements and mutual support between Heavenly USA and Heavenly Asia Pacific. The event left attendees inspired and united, reflecting on the transformative journey led by President Demian and Mrs. Yumiko Dunkley and their profound impact on the region. As they departed, the members expressed their wholehearted support for the new leadership and their commitment to continue the transformative journey under President Masaichi and Mrs. Moriko Hori’s guidance. The Inauguration Ceremony of President Masaichi Hori and Mrs. Moriko Hori as the Regional President and Regional Vice President, respectively, of Heavenly Asia Pacific took place on June 18, 2023, in Bangkok, Thailand. The event brought together approximately 250 members in person and 500 participants virtually, symbolizing the unity of the community. The program included vibrant songs, greetings from leaders, a video introduction of President Horis’ journey, and speeches emphasizing the importance of unity, education, and the establishment of Heavenly Unified Korea. The ceremony concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, congratulatory messages from international leaders, and a captivating performance by the Asian Top Gun Graduates.
