I feel so grateful to see you all together in one place after such a long time. My heart is always with you, but because of the physical distance I cannot always meet with you.
In my daily life, sometimes a person suddenly comes into my mind. Whenever this happens, I realize that it is not me who is remembering this person, it is he who is making me think about him by mobilizing the spirt world. Therefore, it is God and spirit world who are making me remember him. I’m sure this kind of thing has happened to you; please don’t take such experiences lightly. If you do, then you do not understand the spirit world deeply enough.
Actually, the spirit world is constantly trying to teach us, but we do not realize it. Because we expect God to speak to us in some supernatural vision or voice, although God has been trying to approach us, we have not realized it. We should not think of our brothers and sisters around us just as individuals; but rather these people are representing God and the spirit world and God is speaking though them. Every visible thing always has an invisible cause behind it. It is like an iceberg where the visible part is very small, and the invisible part is very big. If we only look at the visible aspect of things without considering the invisible aspect, we cannot understand things clearly enough.
For example, if we could see God right here in front of us, it would be very easy for us to understand God. Anyone could do it. However, God is invisible, so how can we understand an invisible God? As you know, God is a parental God. God created mankind as His own children. However, because of the fall of the first human ancestors all of mankind became false children; that is why God wants to love His children, but He cannot. This means that unless these false children who have inherited Satan’s false lineage return to God’s side, God cannot love them. Children need parents; therefore, in order to be reborn, spiritual children also need spiritual parents. These parents must have inherited the love of God, the life of God and the lineage of God. These are the True Parents.
All of mankind has to become the children of True Parents. Those who have received the Blessing are truly connected to the True Parents, like their children. Let’s say that God has sent you to your hometown to pioneer. Which would God and True Parents desire more, that the people in your hometown love True Parents only, or that they love you more than they love God and True Parents? You! This is because if the people of your area welcome you, they are automatically welcoming God and True Parents.
Also, if you receive persecution from the people whose heart is most painful, yours or True Parents? When we think from this point of view, we can see that until now, we have been thinking only about ourselves. We thought, “Oh, my heart is very painful. Nobody understands me.” At that moment, actually, we forgot the most important things the heart of God and the heart of True Parents. When you were crying in a very difficult situation, you did not realize that God and True Parents were crying with you. Because you could not understand this, you could not connect with God in heart. That’s why God gave you children of your own.
We are the Abel children and secular world people are the Cain children. We are like healthy children and the Cain children are like sick children. The heart of God and True Parents goes out to the sick children more than to us, the healthy children. Therefore, in order to go to True Parents, where should we go? To East Garden? No, to the Cain children of God.
You understand intellectually that I have come here as a representative of True Parents. But, strangely enough, you do not realize that you also are a representative of True Parents because of the Blessing you have received. Of course, you can see that your position and substance is different from that of True Parents, and you are not perfect yet. But please don’t think that I am the only one who represents True Parents. However, between the position and being a substantial representative of True Parents, there is a big gap. We have to inherit the thinking of God and the heart of God and True Parents.
How could True Parents inherit the heart of God when they were receiving persecution from the world? If Father had asked for help or complained to God at that time, surely God would have said, “Oh, I can never forgive your persecutors.” However, Father never asked for help or complained in this way. Instead he prayed, “It is because I did not do enough that they do not understand.” This is why he could inherit the love of God.
That is why, when we are persecuted by the people around us, and we can forgive them and love them, we can inherit the love of God and then spirit world will help us. If we do not inherit the heart of God, even though spirit world wants to help us, it cannot. You have to realize that it is God who has arranged for the people you are living and working with to be around you.
God is asking you to love these people when they persecute you. It is because you have not been able to love the people around you and inherit the heart of God that you have not been able to gain result in witnessing.
In order to be successful in witnessing, we have to really love others and live for their sakes. Father has asked Western members to go to the East so that they can understand the heart of the people in the East and love them. Even if we do not go to the East, our heart must be with the people in the East. We must move to the East in heart. We should not give our leftover money to the East, but we should give money which we need ourselves.
No matter what kind of difficult situation Father was in, he always kept his promises to God. Each one of us promised at the beginning of this year to find 12 spiritual children. If we cannot do this before the end of this year, what shall we do? If we cannot find 12 fulltime members, we have to make some kind of symbolic offering: for example, 12 associate members or a symbolic amount of money representing the number 12. This is because, if we break a promise with God, we have to pay some kind of indemnity for breaking the promise, then we have to keep the promise later. You cannot just say that you will do the 12-up next year- you need to get permission from God. God cannot just extend the time period like that unless you show that you are making sincere effort to fulfill your promise.
Of course, although it is the members who cannot fulfill this goal, it is the leaders who are responsible for it. This is why I have asked the national leaders themselves to go to the East to 12up. Then the members, seeing the national leaders working hard in the East European nations, will be more determined to fulfill the goal.
Now, Germany is the focus of the world’s attention, and the Unification Church here in Germany is at the very center of attention of the spiritual world.
Therefore, we have to become exemplary within Europe, not just being proud of ourselves. That is why I want you to use the characteristics of your race. When you understand the right way, you go straight. This is a good aspect of the German character. Thank you very much.
