We held a 4-day workshop from March 29 to April 1, 2023 for the youth under the title, “Building Character for a Better Future” with 10 participants. YSP in collaboration with WFWP South Africa conducted this program at the Peace Embassy, Johannesburg, South Africa.
The workshop was designed to help youths aged 12 -18 years old develop strong character traits, by each participant experiencing and understanding the values that stem from True Parents teachings such as; true love, purity, cooperation, empathy, and responsibility, in order to become responsible and compassionate leaders in the community.
Highlights:
- Divine Principles lectures
- Interactive workshops and group discussions that focused on various character traits like growth mindset, true love, purity, cooperation, empathy, and responsibility.
- Team-building activities and group exercises that provided opportunities for participants to practice and apply what they had learned.
The workshop organizers received positive feedback from both participants and parents. Overall, the youth workshop was a valuable and transformative experience for all involved.
