From Thursday April 6th to Sunday April 9th, 2023, the traditional IAYSP Holy Week seminar was held at the Armoniay Paz farm with the participation of more than 122 young people and their friends.
The seminar began with welcoming remarks by Mr. Leonidas Belliard regional director of the Caribbean, who encouraged the young people to pay close attention to the lectures that were going to be given in order to put into practice what they had learned.
Mr. Cesar Regalado, secretary of the UPF, gave three lectures on character education, followed by Mr. Bernardo Cruz, national leader, who gave the lectures on the divine principle in a very dynamic and joyful atmosphere.
Carlos Hernandez president of YSP Dominican Republic, gave a lecture on the principles of the restoration followed by Mr. Tony Garcia who gave lectures on the historical parallels, preparation for the second coming and the second coming.
Participants were divided into two groups, the first group included 25 young people of the second generation, who studied about the life and traditions of True Parents. And the second group were guests and new members of the community.
During the seminar there were games and challenges connected with the content of the conference, also the young people climbed the mountain singing holy songs and at the top they all prayed together.
The participants felt grateful for the experience they had this time and for they learned. They expressed that they hope to participate in coming workshops again.
