On 25 of March 2023 the peace ambassadors which included the presidential advisor on religious matters Rev. Brian kamwendo, former Minister of peace and unity Hon. Minister Mtambo and the senior chiefs Dr. Lukwa, senior chief Tsabango and senior chief Chaza in Malawi gathered for a one-day workshop. We had 20 VIP participants.
Presentations were given by Reverend George Ogurie of Nigeria and Reverend wakisi of Kenya. Reverend Ogurie gave presentations on family values while Reverend Wakhisi gave presentations on the introduction of UPF. The audience was given time for reflections every after each presentation. There after Rev. Mwambo the secretary general of UPF Malawi introduced divine principle to the audience. All our participants were happy about presentations and the information they have received.
After the presentations, we had discussion among all the peace ambassadors on how we can get involved in supporting the cyclone victims. As you may be aware, Malawi has been hit hard by this cyclone which has claimed many lives and left many Malawians homeless. The peace ambassadors started organizing support right after the meeting and asked UPF international to possibly collaborate in rendering relief to the cyclone victims.
