A regional level Divine Principle workshop was held in the hotel Olšanka in Prague, Czech Republic February 19-25. Over 70 participants attended. It was a mix of guests, 2ndGen and members, who wanted to refresh themselves.
The whole workshop went very smooth, and, although we had four lectures a day, there was space for sports and evening program like movies, games and testimonies. The main lecturer was Dr. David Hanna from the UK. He went through the whole content of the Divine Principle; True Parents’ life course as well as basic guidance for our life of faith. After the lectures, there was also time for Q&A and discussion in groups.
Our regional leader, Dr. and Fumiko Balcomb, attended the workshop for four days, and supported us with guidance and testimony. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Corley gave their testimony about their life in the Unification Movement that captivated the interest of the audience, since they have worked in such a multitude of countries. There was also some time to do sightseeing in the beautiful historic city of Prague and to visit the holy ground.
The program ended with a graduation ceremony and a Call to Action. Certificates were give and participants wrote their reflections. It was surely a great workshop that has encouraged many of us to continue to reach out to society, to help the world in this challenging time!
