From February 25 to 27, 2023, young members of IAYSP, headed by IAYSP President Mr. Carlos Hernandez and his wife Mrs. Shaniella Petra, conducted a 3-day workshop with 46 participants. The workshop with the theme “Guiding Youth to Be Leaders of the Nation” took place in Juan Adrián, Piedra Blanca, Monseñor Nouel – Dominican Republic.
Our aim was to raise new members by teaching Character Education and Divine Principle during the workshop and give education about the life of faith and blessing for the IAYSP members in order to prepare them for the blessing. We had 61 participants.
The opening remarks was given by the national leader of Dominican Republic Bernardo Cruz followed by IAYSP President Mr. Carlos Hernandez who gave the orientations to all the participants. This time all participants divided in two groups during the lecture time:
- The first group received 3-character education lectures and 6 Divine Principle Lectures ending with the Second Coming; this group was confirmed by the new guest from IAYSP.
- The second group received Internal Guidance and testimonies from the IAYSP President Carlos Hernandez. This group also received a true father course lecture by Caribbean Director Rev. Leonidas Belliard, an Ideal Couple and Marriage lecture by Mrs. Miho Okazaki, a lecture about Requirement and Conditions for the Blessing by National Leader Mr. Bernardo Cruz, and received three more lectures about Meaning and Value of the Blessing and Change of Lineage. So total this group, received 6 lectures, 2 internal guidance and 1 testimony.
The participants expressed that they could feel God’s love during all the activities in the workshop and they were really thankful and grateful with all the leaders and staff for the wonderful experiences they had. The participants were so happy that they want to continue learning more and come back for future activities. Many of the participants are interesting to learn and know more about the blessing.
