The aims were first to educate the students on the dangers of the female genital mutilation in general. Secondly, all the students were given a talk on the danger of HIV Aids and other sexually transmitted diseases. Talk was supported by flip charts to help the visual learners.
The WF-Ghana team, led by Mrs. Whyte (National President) ,was received in GOLDEN CHILD school and TEACHERS’ EXPERIMENTAL school, both schools located in the Greater Accra Region. A total number of 60 teenager students received us in their schools.
Women’s Federation advised the youth on the necessity of living a life of abstinence before marriage. At the end of the talk, the students were guided to make a pledge to remain pure and rather focus on their studies until the time of marriage.
