On January 3, 2006, a ceremony marking both the fifth anniversary of the Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God and the commemoration of the birth of Jesus was held at the Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center. In the audience that day were prominent members of Korean society, both civic and religious as well as Unificationists. The following is what Father said to them that day.
Bring me the script for the declaration given at the inauguration of the Universal Peace Federation. You need to be aware that the speech I gave in my 120-nation tour contains things that heaven and earth should fulfill and live by. That is why, based on this speech, this tradition, hoondokhwae, should be observed until unity is achieved between mind and body, within the family, in the tribe, in the nation and in the world. These words—the ideal family and the model of a world of peace—are important and are something God will bring to fulfillment.
Now centering on True Parents… With Moses, there were the Ten Commandments and the pillars of fire and of cloud. In the same way, when the Israelites left the land of Egypt and began their forty-year course in the wilderness, there was a pillar of fire and what else? [A pillar of cloud.] The pillar of fire and the pillar of cloud were symbols of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, symbolizing the True Parents. What else was there? What did they have to protect the stone tablets? [The two stone tablets were kept in the ark.] It contained the two stone tablets, manna and Aaron’s rod. These three items were in the ark. What this means is that when all of True Parents’ rights of ownership are decided their children, by centering on the True Parents, can become owners and live as owners. The lineage was lost in Adam’s family, and among Adam’s children, Cain killed Abel. There was a fight between the brothers. The fight began because of Cain’s ambitions and the jealousy he felt when God accepted the offering of his younger brother instead of his, the older brother’s. The fight began because of jealousy.
What else was there? What did Aaron’s budding rod symbolize? Aaron was someone who represented the word. The word must emerge in the Last Days, as did the fruit of the word of the chief priest. The Second Advent of the Lord must occur, and he must purify the lineage and unify the things that were in the ark. He has to stop the fraternal battle between the communist world and democratic world and make them one.
Then what? There was also manna inside the ark. [It represented….] the rights of ownership! Creation was inside. That is why what emerged as the fruit of the Old Testament Age has spread across the entire world. The outstanding problem that should be resolved by the Lord at the time of the Second Coming deals with the Arabic realm. In order to conquer the global Roman Empire centering on Israel—in order to dominate Rome—the lineage that Adam lost in his family must be… Since the wrong lineage was implanted, it became a problem. For this reason, parents are needed in order to replace the lineage. Centering on Zechariah and Joseph’s families, John the Baptist and Jesus were to become one, and Mary and Elizabeth from Zechariah’s family should have become one. They should have become one, so that the front and back could be completely reversed. They were in a position to change the direction of the path of love. The bottom line, in regards to these problems, can be found in present times in the term “exchange marriage.” Through exchange marriage, there will no longer be any enemies. That is what this is about.
Please understand this and remember that what I am telling you is the greatest gift that can be presented to humanity, the fruit of all the fortune, grace and hopes of heaven and earth that are being given in this age by the Second Coming and the True Parents.
I should leave this behind for the sake of tens of thousands of generations; it is more valuable than the Ten Commandments, manna, Aaron’s rod and than all of those things combined. There are many fine people here today, but do not think that this has nothing to do with you. It certainly has something to do with you. It is all relevant to you all. Your lineage is what is being talked about, so those who say that they have nothing to do with this are wrong.
This must all be resolved. The lineage, the Fall, the defilement of the lineage from Adam’s family and…what else? Brothers turned into enemies and shed blood. Cain killed Abel; whenever a person reached the capacity of an owner, that is, whenever an Abel-type figure appeared, he was in danger of being killed [by Satan] in the fear that God would go to him, because God would surely go to an Abel-type person wherever one appeared. This is where the conflict began.
Adam and Eve’s mind and body were disunited; the mind and body of the brothers were disunited; and people committed sexual sins out of their belief that they were the best. The lineage was turned upside down and the realm of love between brothers was completely overturned. In the end, individualism emerged centering on the rights of ownership themselves, and Satan came to claim the entire world as his own. Satan made a complete mess of everything. This must be brought together into harmony by the Lord at the Second Coming. When people come to know these things and particularly when politicians come to know these things, they should understand the path they are walking down.…
There is no nation, including the Republic of Korea, in which we can register our births in the heavenly nation. There is no nation where we can register our marriages. There is no nation where we can register our deaths. This should be clear.
You should know how high this hill is. Nobody who is carelessly meandering and trying to accrue some profit can get by. You are unable to surmount the eight-stage hill. That is why when Unificationists who have been discreet in their behavior see this, they think, “That person still has a long way to go. I should have introduced the upward path to my uncle and father and even my king, but now it’s too late.”
That is why you should listen carefully to what I’m saying today. Understand that what I say is more important than the Bible’s Old and New Testaments, the Buddhist scriptures or scripture from any other religion. This is what Satan fears most. With this, you can liberate Satan, religion and even the nation.
I am telling you to create an Abel UN. The Abel UN should not fight with the Cain UN. What I’m saying is based on reason and is something that can bring about submission from everyone, from the individual to the United Nations. The Cain realm cannot refute this. They can only submit to it.
You are in such a fortunate position, but what do you need to do to inherit kingship? What is the [official] national seal called? If some thieves were to break in and steal the royal seal, you could not assume the position of a king of that regime. You should understand that we are in such a process.
That doesn’t mean I dislike your coming to offer a New Year’s greetings to me. Please understand these principles and make sure to feel in your heart that you are a representative who can stand in the place closest to me at this moment. You should offer a New Year’s greetings not to me but to God and then to the sons. Do you know God? Do you know the heavenly nation? That nation is where you will register your birth, your marriage and your death. But that nation does not exist.
Please understand these things, and in order not to stand in shame before that nation in the future, harden your resolve to the root. Whatever order is given or if God were to appear and tell you His wish, you should be able to do even more than what was being asked and be ready to give even your body for that purpose. You should return what was stolen from God, but you have not done that yet.
The responsibility that can be likened to that royal seal is given to the blessed families. If the blessed family members can fulfill this, they can go anywhere in heaven. They can go all the way up to God’s throne. You would not need the royal seal. That’s how valuable this is.
Be aware of the fact that you could easily give an answer that would be even below the kindergarten level in reply to a question about how valuable the blessing of the Unification Church is. Therefore, you should be able to recite this from memory at all times. I have read this speech almost six hundred times. Whenever I went to a nation, I read it at least five times.
That is why this speech was polished and given to those who came to the 50,000 rally last time. Rev. Kwak! Pay attention to this point. A copy of this book should be given to everyone. Every single word has been refined. I have checked and re-checked this five or six times. It is the draft copy of what will decide the constitution of the heavenly nation. Is there anyone who sees it in that way?
Wherever you go you should always be focused on the constitution. In the Korean government, for example, there are eighteen departments and each has its own respective rules. The Construction Department, for one, has laws on construction. If anyone were to violate them, even if it he were the president, he would be caught. Do you understand that?
To those Japanese who came to the 50,000-person rally, I gave out copies of the book that has the declaration given at the inauguration of the Universal Peace Federation. I then gave the white book to 40,000 Koreans. The question is why I gave it out to Japanese people. This is the root. The father root! Do you understand?
If the Japanese or members of Chochongryun become one, come to Korea and arouse the people to become patriots, would you be winners or losers? Originally, you would be losers. The question is whether the heart of a united Chochongryun that is intent on unification or that of patriotic people living in Korea would have greater value. If members of Chochongryun united and 10,000 of them got together, I would not exchange them for even 50,000 other people.
What I am saying is Koreans get your act together! If they register their children, shouldn’t they be registered before your sons and daughters? This is a serious problem. The nation, heaven and earth would be turned upside down.
You can say, “I’m Buddhist” or “I’m Confucian,” and holler as much as you like about your religion, but it doesn’t teach anything similar to what this book—the word expressed here—does. I apologize for saying this to those gentlemen seated over there, but you have to wake up and follow me.
My path from now is different from yours. Aren’t I the king of peace? Can the king of peace be treated like an ordinary citizen? I am the king of peace on the levels of the individual, family, tribe, nation, world and cosmos. Therefore, you cannot treat me with disrespect. There would be no order.
When I meet a president of a nation these days, he knows how to treat me as if I were God Himself and knows how to create a solemn environment. That’s how it is in the North.
All these things should be in a higher position than Satan and the way of loyalty and filial piety should be about creating a clan of loyal, pious people. When we talk about the way of loyalty and of filial piety, it sounds religious, but we must become a clan of loyal people whose lives express filial piety. Is there anyone who looks at this in this way? There are many who view things without including the source. I am the only person who thinks centering on the source.
Please understand this and fully comprehend the attitude you should have and direction you should take in going your way. You should do so in a way that you would not be criticized by the members of the Unification Church here today or by the people of the heavenly nation. Do you understand?
This speech is more important than the ark. It is more important than the pillar of cloud, the pillar of fire, the stone tablets, manna and the rod of Aaron. That is what I decided, so that is how it is even if you do not believe it. Die and see for yourselves. Our path can be found where we go back and forth between the realm of life and death. That is why he who wishes to lose his life will gain it, and he who wishes to live shall die. People all eventually die. That is why if you offer your life, your foot may be spared—if your foot bows toward heaven, even though your entire body burns to the ground, your foot will receive redemption.
Both your mind and body should be burned at Satan’s feet. God would blow away your ashes, for He has no need of them. Even were your footprint dug up and thrown away, God would not go to live with the children and nation from the enemy’s lineage or live on the framework that was consolidated by the enemy’s lineage. The same goes for me. There is no province in Korea that I would want to use as a base. This is the very place where eight administrations have opposed me. That is why I am now pioneering anew.
I have built a palace in this area. Did you know that? This is a palace. Be aware that a palace more valuable than any other palace in the world is being built near here. If you don’t understand these things, I will not invite you anywhere from now on. If you aren’t invited, do you think you can come as you wish?
Even if you don’t like what you hear, you should give an ear to what I am saying. Today we celebrated the coronation of God’s kingship and the coronation of Jesus’ kingship, and we completed the coronation of Rev. Moon centering on the Abel UN. Please treasure this experience and do not leave it just to memory but engrave it in your hearts. I said engrave—meaning to cut and carve it into your hearts. By engraving this in your hearts, you should become a household and nation that can carry on such a tradition throughout the generations to come for eternity. Unless you do so, you will lose your position as the center of the world. I’ll be moving it away from you.
Even if you have many sons, you should go to the one who is the most devoted. It doesn’t matter if he is the first son or not if he isn’t devoted. Would the firstborn son of the satanic world still be the firstborn son in heaven? I’m the first father and firstborn son in heaven. Isn’t that so? I am the father of all fathers, the king of all kings, the teacher of all teachers and the eldest of all firstborn sons. Would I go to someone to ask him to do me a favor?
That is why on the two occasions that George W. Bush, the American president, asked to meet me or when over fifty people signed an invitation for me to meet them, I chose not to. I could have met any of the world’s great presidents if I wanted to, but I didn’t. Heaven has to maintain its dignity. Even if I were handcuffed and in prison, once I had been released I would wear a crown and robes and go to places like a prince if I were a prince. But if were to I act as if I had forgotten my prison experience, I would be driven out.
Please keep these things in mind. Since I gave you something extraordinary, do not spread this openly. Make sure that you don’t go away uprooting the pillar of the Unification Church—instead drive it back in. I hope that you can be determined in that way and know that I am teaching you these things because I believe in you and love you that much.
Even if I were to say something that makes you feel bad, it shouldn’t be so bad. Wherever I go, I give out orders as if standing on a summit. Were I to go to all 120 nations, the palace occupants there would be mobilized to wait on me. They would always be filled with people who could assist me with greater intensity than any of you.
Still, you came to me after hearing that I had come. Because you survived without dying, I thought I should cure you to make you healthy, then educate and assign you to do something.
You have been examples to this nation and have an excellent history. Having faith that I made you all into something greater than an ambassador for peace, though Unification Church members are still suffering, I still have to send you down a path of hardships. I’m asking you whether you can become my representatives, follow the right path, occupy the highlands and broaden the fortune of the nation.
We still do not have a nation even though we are holding such ceremonies in heaven and on earth. We still have eight years left. Anything can be done during this time. If you deviate, you will have to bow out. Adam and Eve were sixteen when they committed the Fall. They were attending God but couldn’t complete their term and turned everything in the other direction. That’s why they were chased away. I am a harsh man. I am heartless. That is why I never yield. If something is wrong, I open my mouth and do not surrender. I can be heartless. I show no mercy.
I have no mercy on my enemies. In the satanic world, I cannot show filial piety or loyalty that I should display to my parents or nation even if my mouth were to lose its shape for being closed. That is why he who loses his life shall gain it while he who seeks to gain his life will lose it. Do you understand?
I know that there are many heads of religious orders here today. I’m sorry to say this, but you should bear in mind what I say. Do not publicize what you hear today. Instead write it down quietly in a pocket notebook and later pray about it, asking if it is true or not. If it is true, you should move your denomination over here.
Didn’t I take down the Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity sign? I took it down and created the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification. People had opposed the Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity, but the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification is different from the Unification Church. If you were to take legal action, the Family Federation would file a complaint against you. The Family Federation itself is the root. If you were to try taking any action against the Unification Church root, you couldn’t, because they are legally different entities. The name is different. The time has come in which we can demand compensation for any damage.
The UN peacekeeping forces have to make a fresh start. They’ve failed their responsibility. The Korean War was a war between God and Satan, but they lost! America, the realm of the second Israel, was at fault. Everything was taken away. Everything everywhere is in a mess. Aren’t the communists doing all sorts of things? How can you bring them into submission and avoid a fight? You have to get your act together.
