How fast does the spiritual world develop? It jumps thousands of years at once. It’s different from the past. What has happened there in the last two or three years is equal to fifty years of Unification Church history. They have even gone further….
What went wrong in the one generation of Adam has been expanded to the other generations throughout history. Everything should be brought to a conclusion within my lifetime. When reform of the United Nations is accomplished, everything else will be fulfilled.
Until now, brothers and sisters have not been able to register their births. That was because the sons and daughters of God have not had a nation to register in. Since they have not had a nation, God and Adam couldn’t register their children’s marriages in order to become the heavenly and earthly parents respectively. Everything was taken over by the satanic world, wasn’t it?
Do you know how much work was put into making the name of God’s nation, Cheon Il Guk? If we don’t have that, we cannot even get married. We cannot register our marriages. How is it that Koreans can register their marriages? It is because they have a nation, Korea, where they can do so. If people cannot register their marriages and births, even if they disappear into the blue and die out, there is nowhere to go to complain about it.
Since we recognize that the fall indeed did occur, we cannot deny the fact that God’s nation does not exist, either. Adam and Eve were chased out. God’s nation was supposed to be established centering on Adam and Eve, but they were chased out, and so there is no nation in which God can be connected to people. You cannot deny that. Once we acknowledge the fall, we have to acknowledge many other facts as well.
What happens when we do not have a nation? There is no foundation on which the sons and daughters of God can be married in holy matrimony or register their marriages. Even if they were to marry a thousand times over, without a nation, all is in vain. Since they could not register their marriages in their nation, they cannot register births, either. That is the way it is. Only someone who cannot think could deny this.
So the name Cheon Il Guk did not come about simply. Historically, restoration through indemnity had to be completed. Centering on the victorious foundation of the Second World War, we must enter the supra-national, supra-religious and supra-NGO sphere and fulfill everything so that no one can accuse us in any way. Only then can Cheon Il Guk be established.
Now the world cannot deny what Rev. Moon is doing. With the first few members of the Unification Church, I spread my work throughout Korea, and from Asia, I expanded to the rest of the world. It is not easy to do so much work in forty years. It is almost like something from a dream. The reality is that God’s nation has been restored and set up! What was needed to restore God’s nation? God’s kingship had to be established. The Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God had to take place, but could it take place without a nation?
Even with the preparations for all those things completed, and the Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God being accomplished, the marriage of the Heavenly Parent and that of the Earthly Parents–God being the internal parent and Adam the external parent–could not be carried out centering on Cheon Il Guk, for the sake of God’s lost nation. There is no way to deny that, and no one in the world could deny it. The question was when could these ceremonies be carried out….
Has God been a king merely in name until now? There is a connection to the origin. From the individual to the family, tribe, race, nation, world and cosmos to God, there is a standard of eight stages, through which, centering on the original family of Adam before the fall, the plans conceived as the ideal of creation were to be completed in order for the name “Cheon Il Guk” to be bestowed on heaven and earth. Since this was lost, we have been working to restore it. With the marriage of Adam and Eve, individual perfection would have been achieved and connected to the tribe, for tribal perfection, and then the race, nation and world. By connecting to the eight stages, history was to progress. Such things as indemnity and salvation were never planned to be part of history. There was to be a realm of perfection and freedom. After the holy wedding of Adam, the sons and daughters born from his marriage were to have their births registered in that nation [Cheon Il Guk], and the tribe, race, nation and whole world were to become one in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Since all this was lost, it must be restored. If a hole is made in something, it has to be mended. In the same way, we need to mend the hole that was made by the fall. To do so, the standard of individual Adamic perfection has to be established. Yet who can do that?
That is why we need the Messiah. The Messiah is none other than the True Parents. Working on the individual level, the Messiah should discover all the secrets related to the spiritual world, the physical world, Satan and God, and resolve everything based on that knowledge…. If the fall had not occurred, would there have been a need for reconciliation?
God was in the position to trust the Archangel absolutely, but the Archangel, centering on himself, gave his love, life and blood lineage to human beings, became the king of all nations, and opposed God in every way. This is not the way it should have been. Nothing can be resolved if the world remains the way it is. That is why it should be turned around. But is that a simple matter?
Restoration through indemnity on the individual level, familial level, tribal level and racial level should be officially acknowledged by God and Satan, and, over the course of developments through history in accordance with the original principles of the ideal of creation. That is why restoration through indemnity should be declared centered on the individual. Not even Jesus could declare this. The people of Israel–as individuals, families, tribes, a people and a nation–could not lay the foundation of absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience. Everyone has fallen to a position totally isolated from God, regardless of whether he is Christian or believes in another religion.
People were supposed to connect to God through the Messiah, but Christ died before fulfilling all of his tasks, and only the spiritual foundation was completed in the two thousand years that have passed since he ascended. There is no substantial nation yet. America, a Christian nation, has no relationship with Jesus. The physical foundation must be connected as well. What I’m telling you is immensely important.
Now that you have come to know all this, you’ll ask about the Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God. To carry out the coronation ceremony in the realm of mainstream ideology, how big should His nation be? It should have more than 6 million citizens. There should be at least 7 or 8 million citizens in His nation.
The nation of Israel is adjacent to the Muslim world. When did Islam come into being? At the beginning of the seventh century. After the birth of Islam, the people of Israel were pushed out. The people were completely scattered. What this means is that the standard to restore God’s nation had been established, and centering on this standard, and through Jesus, restoration through indemnity was to be carried out. Since restoration could not be fulfilled, however, and Jesus was killed, the nation completely disappeared….
It has to be saved. If Rev. Moon is the Savior, he must save the world. Only then can he be the Messiah. The Messiah has to save all the lost children of the world. Who are these people without parents? They are the people born after the fall. They are illegitimate children. They don’t have mothers, fathers or ancestors. Do they have ancestors? They have no ancestors who are connected to God. There are no traces of them in heaven, and so they will all end up in hell.
Now I’ll speak about the meaning of the Second Advent. The Second Advent means that the Messiah will come again and become the owner. Why is this so? Since Jesus, who was the first Messiah, was unable to fulfill his mission, the Messiah has to come again as the Lord of the Second Advent. The bride and groom should have partaken of the marriage supper of the Lamb. That would have been the first time it could have been held centered on God. Did Jesus fulfill his mission? He could not. Only at the Second Advent can that marriage supper finally be held.
What that means is that it should have been completed in the one generation of Adam and Eve. Centering on the realm of the chosen people who were forming a nation–the nation of Israel and the Jewish faith–Jesus’ family was to hold the marriage supper of the lamb. Only then could the nation of Israel have been the nation where the marriage supper of the lamb was held.
Then there would have been no need to have the work continue from the spiritual world–the task would have been completed right there and then, and Rome would have been absorbed into that nation as well. From our point of view, just as Jesus had 120 disciples working centered on Rome, in the time of the Second Advent there should be at least 120 nations. The reason we blessed the 120 couples was to equal the number of member nations of the United Nations.1 In other words, it is restoration through indemnity. The Unification Church did not emerge at this period of history by chance. Everything has its time and place.
Why? Now that both the spiritual world and the earthly world are opposing Satan and trying to follow the way of heaven, Satan will be eliminated, and based on indemnity, we will move toward the realm of true love. In the presence of true love, a love that inspires us to put others before ourselves, Satan has no choice but to leave.
Yet, individualism has expanded, hasn’t it? Where can you find it? Is there individualism in the world of animals and insects, even among the smallest animals and insects? Everything exists in couples, and these pairs exist in large families. They live and feed in groups. Even the ducks out in the pond take care of their ducklings by moving around together and feeding them all.
Did Jesus have a son? Did he have a family of his own? Are Christians a part of Jesus’ family? They are not related at all to Jesus’ love, life or lineage. It is as if they are floating in the air. Centered on their nation, the nation of Israel, and on the foundation of victory over Satan, and based on God’s love, I am giving the blessing of God’s love and lineage. But in order to give the blessing, there should be a nation where this blessing can be given, and parents to give it.
In this way, all the people of Israel could have been blessed at the same time. It would not have taken seven years, or even seven months. All of them could have been blessed in a week. Do you understand? In this way, they could have been engrafted. If there had been just a few dozen true olive tree families, those over eight years of age could have been engrafted onto them, and within a week the whole population of Israel could have been engrafted.
What is it that I have to do now? I have to bring reconciliation between God and Satan. If not, there is no way to go forward. What was the fall? It meant that there was no way for God and Satan to reconcile their differences. For eternity, there would be no way for them to harmonize.
What should be done to unite them into one? I must take in all the families lost to the satanic world, and, centered on Israel among the many tribes, races and nations of the world, I must absorb the other nations of the satanic world. There must without fail be a central nation onto which the other nations can be engrafted.
Can a family take over a whole nation? Only a nation can stand on an equal footing in terms of diplomacy with another nation. Isn’t the world like that? If a director of a government bureau is invited to another nation, a person of similar rank, not someone who is higher or lower, will meet him. If the president of a nation visits another nation, no matter how small a country he is from, the president of the visited nation would receive him. A government minister would be received by a government minister. Doesn’t everything happen that way?
That is why God’s kingdom should have dealt with Rome on the basis of the nation of Israel [the national level]. Without a nation that was on the same footing as Rome, it was impossible. That is absolute. Then what is Israel? Israel means “to prevail,” but to prevail over what? It means to prevail over the satanic world. Jacob did not win his fight against an individual; he wrestled with an angel through the night until daybreak. He won that fight only after a bone-wrenching struggle. It was not easy to merit the name “Israel.” Jacob wrestled through the night at the risk of his life, and his hip was dislocated. Doesn’t that tell us that the fight was fiercer than we might have imagined? That is why the angel lost to Jacob.
The name “Israel” also means that God has finally found someone who can win in the fight with the satanic world; but was Jacob chosen as this someone? In simpler terms, centering on true love and on the owner of love, life and lineage, the nation of Israel had to be formed. It could not be done by Jacob alone. Israel involves the realm of victory and connection to this love, life and lineage from the individual level to the levels of family, tribe, race and nation. This took two thousand years.
After a nation was established, though it may have taken two thousand years, the blessing could be bestowed on the national level. Only then, centered on God’s love and on the national level of love, life and lineage, could all things of the four thousand years of history in the satanic world be returned to God’s side.
As the lineage has changed, can Satan maintain dominion? In this sense, the blessing is truly frightening. Since people are engrafted to God’s love, life and lineage, they become true olive trees; they cease being wild olive trees. Do you understand? You must be engrafted.
Do you know how sad it is that Jesus did not marry? Christians say I’m a heretic, because I claim that Jesus should have married. Well, they will see the truth when they die. You’ve read of Maria Park and Kim Hwa-lan in Dr. Lee’s book. Until now, Christians persecuted us, beat us and did everything possible to us, but we have kept on expanding all the same. Now we are such a big group that they cannot even distinguish who is a member and who is not, and even if they know someone to be our member, they cannot do anything about it.
Who is the owner of Korea? The president, who is in office for just five years, is not the owner. There is no eternal owner. In your families, there are no eternal grandfathers, mothers or fathers. God is the only owner of eternal love, life and lineage. Since God was ousted from this position, and we separated from Him, the whole world has fallen to the bottommost part of hell. Therefore, there is no owner.
Do you think you’ll find an owner of hell if you go there? When you go to hell, you’ll see gangs from thousands of years ago fighting every day. Just as in the physical world, in the spirit world if one gang loses to another, it becomes subservient to the other gang. In hell, it feels almost as if there is a championship match going on all the time. To become the champion or the leader, a person must do his utmost. They continue to fight, because those that lose have to become subservient to the winners. Can you imagine how chaotic hell is?
Could there be two owners? Would God have created two owners? After God was banished, children multiplied–who would those children say their owner or master was? Would they say it was God, or Satan? Satan is their owner….People have become the sons and daughters of the devil.
Therefore, would it be all right just to have the title, the “Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God,” and nothing else? Is there even one person among you who believed it when Rev. Moon first spoke of such a ceremony?
God does not have a nation, and without a nation, He cannot marry people. You must know this. Since God lost His nation to the satanic world, until His nation was restored, isn’t it the case that weddings could not be held and births could not be registered?
Is that true or not? Once we acknowledge the fall, we must also acknowledge the fact that we banished God. The sons and daughters of the first ancestors were not born before God was exiled. They got married and had children after He was exiled. Therefore, there is no connection at all to God. Since we banished him, the whole nation was handed over to Satan. The nation was built because of love and because of the owner of love changed, what was built was given away. God’s nation completely disappeared.
Can you imagine how much God must have grieved at the moment of the fall to see Adam and Eve get married without a nation in His name in which to register their marriage, and to see them registered instead in the nation of the satanic world? If God had been an ordinary person, He would have put an end to it. He would have destroyed the entire universe. He would have destroyed the macrocosm, with the billions of star systems in it. Can you imagine that? People in the world are reluctant to give up even a small piece of land on their deathbeds, but God lost the entire universe.
Think for a moment. Let us say there is a man with many wives, and that he has a thousand sons. If one of these sons dies, would he say, “That’s okay; I still have 999 sons left”? Is there a parent anywhere who would respond in that way? Even though you have thousands of strands of hair, if you pull out just one, it hurts. Can you imagine what it was like for God, who was to be Lord of billions of people, to see all these people, who were meant to be His sons and daughters, come to destruction?
The realm of heart talked of in the Unification Church is not something the couples present here today, or your sons and daughters, are connected with. Who knows the deep heart of God? You live happily by yourselves without giving Him a thought. There is no connection between your lives and God.
Since this nation has no connection to God, the 70 million people of South and North Korea combined have no connection to God, either. That is the Principle, and a reasonable conclusion according to the Principle. Anyone who denies this is no better than a stray dog on the street.
Will people go to heaven? The whole religious realm, including Buddhists, Confucians, Muslims and even the Protestants, must go through me. Haven’t I blessed even Buddha and Jesus? People are waiting anxiously for the blessing, although I have already blessed billions. They are not very serious about the ancestral liberation being done in Cheong Pyeong. Why do you think the ancestors are being liberated? It is in order to bless them.
Raise your hands if you’ve liberated your ancestors. Have all of you done that? Counting from Adam there are scores of generations, thousands of generations. Have you liberated them all the way back to Adam? [No, we haven’t.]
If you haven’t, can you say you have liberated them all when in reality you’ve liberated only the bud of the wild olive tree? You have to liberate back to Adam and even God. What is it that will save even Adam? Restoration of the owner of true love, life and lineage. Since this was not done before, four thousand years were spent in preparation for the advent of the Messiah, and for a house in which God can reside.
I’ve come to Sun Moon University, and I’m telling you these things. Do you know how serious this is? Don’t boast about Korea as your nation. Don’t ask for blessings to be bestowed on your nation, Korea, or on your home. Can God give blessings to the nation? Wouldn’t it be nice if He could do so? God cannot bestow blessings on our church. We will need the church only when we have a nation. Our position is a sad one, trying to find a nation. It is almost as if we are living the life of parasites carrying our belongings like refugees….
In order to carry out the Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God, we had to first have a nation. We had to restore our nation. Could we have the coronation ceremony without a nation? [No.] In that case, do you know what Rev. Moon has done until now to carry out the coronation ceremony? Do you know what he has been through? You don’t know this, but those in the spirit world have followed me. Serving True Parents in the position of unfallen angels, they have followed me. Based on this, by connecting with the religious realm centered on their descendants in the physical world, I have blessed couples across the barriers of nations and religions. I have blessed Muslims with Christians.
On the fifth [of July]… a total of forty-seven nations participated in the blessing ceremony.2 The leaders of seven religious denominations and the sons and daughters of famous people also attended the blessing. I blessed 1,200 couples in total. What is more, they are marriages building bridges across national and cultural barriers.
I have matched Muslims and Christians in marriage several times before, as well. These people had no way of meeting each other, but since they wanted to marry someone from a religion other than their own, I provided an opportunity for them to do so. I did not force them. I did not order them to do so. Do you think that could have happened if we had done nothing, if we had only spoken about this and done nothing about it? Since it was destined to be so from a very long time ago, it has been realized.
Did God say, “I am the Omega and the Alpha” or “I am the Alpha and the Omega”? [He said He is the Alpha and the Omega.] The Alpha is the cause and the Omega is the effect. Should the effect be greater, or should the cause be greater? [The effect should be greater.] So, you know how it is supposed to be.
At the time of our birth, we don’t have anything, but once we are born, we have to live for Heaven. Everyday you say, “I report this in my name, so and so, as the owner of Cheon Il Guk.” In other words, you give a report. Prayers are only needed in the fallen world. In the Unification Church, we should not say the word “prayer.” I have already taught you everything. I have already taught you that you must reach individual perfection by uniting your mind and body. Husband and wife must unite as one. Centering on the parents, the children must unite as one, and centering on the family, the tribe must be united as one. It’s simple.
Are your body and mind fighting or not? The fact that they fight with each other means that they have nothing to focus on. The mind and body of Rev. Moon cannot fight each other. In my mind, God’s will is forever present. It cannot be removed at all. Even when I go to the bathroom, if I were to leave God’s will behind for a very short while, Satan would attack me in full force. If you think even for a second about yourself before others, black clouds come over and envelop you. On the other hand, if you are determined to give your life for God, bright sunlight shines down on you like a searchlight. Did you know that?
Did anyone praise the establishment of God’s kingship? You must have read during hoondokhae that in the spirit world God and the spirits there all wept with joy. Is that a lie? Or is it true? Did you weep yourselves? Did you believe it? You might have thought to yourselves, “What is Rev. Moon doing this time? Who cares, whatever it is. Living in this busy world is hard enough as it is.” When you hear about something like the establishment of God’s kingship, do you think it concerns you or not? [It concerns us.] When I tell you these fundamental things, whoever has a head and five senses should become attentive, prick up his ears, sharpen his senses and open up his heart to accept what I am saying. He should throw away everything else to take these ideas in, if need be.
Was there anyone who understood the meaning of the coronation of God’s kingship? Was there anyone who understood that since the nation was lost beginning with individuals, the Coronation Ceremony had to be carried out to regain the universe? Is there anyone who has prayed for and lived for Rev. Moon? All of you have lived for yourselves.
I don’t need Sun Moon University for myself. I established it to educate the descendants of the people I have blessed. I did not build it for myself or for my children. I know God’s situation very well.
Read my prayers during hoondokhae. Through proclamations, I saved even Satan and declared the liberation of hell. How did I do that? God cannot save the billions of people in the spirit world and the physical world at the same time. They must be saved one at a time, individually.
That is why we need the Messiah, and a church taught by the Messiah. The whole world must become the territory of religion, and all people, with no one excluded, must live in the religious sphere. So when the whole of humanity cries “Heavenly Father!” it must echo around the world, and everybody must say “Heavenly Father!” Can you hear an echo in a flat area? An echo must bounce off another object. If you went hunting deep in the mountains of Gangwon-do [the northeastern province of South Korea], you would be amazed to hear how the sound of a gunshot echos around like countless gunshots. In the same way, there must be echoes in our world. What echoes am I talking about? I’m talking about the echo of God’s love, life and lineage, which would embrace the whole of the cosmos. God is waiting for such a response from us, but there isn’t anyone or anything that can return such joy to God. Since it’s as if God exists only in name, there is nothing He can do substantially.
In such times, you must think about this. Cheon Il Guk was not made by putting a nametag on a piece of land. God has waited for Cheon Il Guk to be established, living each day as if it were a thousand years. I have also lived my whole life for Cheon Il Guk. Even when I was imprisoned, I longed for it. After I offer Cheon Il Guk to God, and go to Him to pay indemnity for this world, God on His throne will bow down to pray. For whom will He pray? For His sons and daughters. Isn’t He praying for the families of His sons and daughters? Who would have thought that God, as one who is praying, has been working His providence through history to establish a people, nation, world and cosmos?
This is the truth of the matter. You must pay attention to what I’m saying. Do you know how serious this is? How nice would it have been if God’s wish had come true and Satan had repented! For Satan to repent of his sins, God’s sons and daughters must first repent and return to Him. Only then can Satan repent as well. On what date did I make Satan submit completely? It was March 21, 1999. Because this was accomplished, Satan is now asking God not to make Rev. Moon suffer any longer. Rev. Moon had been hated by God even more than Satan was. Who committed sin? Although Eve was the first to fall, and although the Archangel initiated the fall, they were not the cause of the problem; Adam was. Adam must indemnify it. That is why unless God punished Adam more than He did Satan, Satan would not submit to God. Look at the way things are in the world as well. When children from different families fight, one child might another child. When the parents of both children hear about it and arrive at the scene, the parents of the child who started the fight might punish their own child. Then the other parents should have the heart to implore them not to punish their child. Only then can restoration be achieved.
Do you think there can be any restoration without loving Cain? You might ask me, “Is there any law that says we must love Cain?” Satan may argue that something wrong was done even if it was not. That is why God must punish His own child first. If God punishes His own child too much, the one who had done wrong will come to God and say, “Stop, I’m the one who did wrong, so beat me instead.” Only then can everything be reconciled and the whole thing resolved. Can a person who does not love the children of Cain go to heaven?…
Communism is bound for total destruction. It must be gotten rid of. When the time comes, it will be chased out from the world itself…. God is trying to save communists, so that a good many of them will be saved. This is the love of God. Since Satan knew that, he submitted to God, because he also knew that even if he has to be humiliated for billions of years, he couldn’t continue to rebel against God. With his submission, the water of life is springing from the origin of universal peace.
Knowing what God has taught me, I myself must be in the world. That is why I am the one responsible to absorb more hatred and persecution than Satan does. In front of whom? In front of God. Does God love me? Of course He does. I must climb over this hill and then even bigger hills beyond. With higher hills, there will be deeper valleys that I must cross. Altogether, how many hills will there be? There will be twelve, at least. After the hills are crossed, there will be unlimited peace. Crossing over hills filled with poisonous snakes and crocodiles and other horrible, creeping things, I will finally arrive at the plains, where everything will be peaceful.
Only then can I go to the origin of the spring, made by God, and rest. That is the path of restoration. It is restoration. It is not rebirth. It is not revival. It is restoration. Since we fell, we must climb up again. It is much harder to climb back up. Since we fell, we are now living in hell, and we must be restored. We must climb back up.
In the Old Testament Age, based on the offering of animals and crops, a bridge was built for people to climb back up. By sacrificing these things, a bridge was built for the sons and daughters to cross. Jesus was sacrificed to build the bridge for True Parents to cross, and True Parents have been sacrificed to build the bridge for God to cross. Until we can reach the plains and become sons and daughters who can rule the world, God cannot come to live with us. Only when we reach that place, and God tells us that we have fulfilled the duties of sons and daughters, and that we are representatives of the eras of the individual, family, tribe, race, nation, world and heaven and earth, and that we are centered on the corresponding realms of devoted sons and daughters, patriots, sages and saints, can we live with God forever and can we become God’s heirs and inherit what will then rightfully belong to us.
Even when you are blessed, it does not end there. You have to be in the same position as God, in the realm of liberation where the fall does not exist. Even if the nation is liberated, you cannot be free if you are in prison; you must be released in order to be free. That is why I say resurrection through restoration, rebirth, liberation and release! Even after the nation is liberated, if you are in prison you need to be set free in order to be liberated. You are not yet ready to be liberated with the king when his nation is liberated. Even if you had passed through thousands of stages to liberate the nation, you would still need to wait for the day on which you are to be released.
If people became aware of this fact, they would have to seem to be out of their minds to want to go to Heaven. When you curse, don’t you sometimes say “son of a bitch”? What does “bitch” refer to? A woman. What does “son” indicate? A man. When you curse, you mention both the man and the woman. It is the same in Pyungan.3 Even there when people curse, they mention both the man and the woman. It is because the man and the woman, the father and the mother, must be rejected.
Do you think carrying out the Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God was easy, or difficult? Can you imagine how difficult it was? Even if you were to give someone tens of nations, or even hundreds of nations, you couldn’t exchange them for the Coronation Ceremony. Therefore, you must know how precious and valuable the Savior, the Messiah and the Second Coming is. God had to invest Himself entirely a thousand times over to hold the Coronation Ceremony, so that His sons and daughters could be registered in His nation, and so that they could become the owners of His nation through registering their marriages. Looking at the world as it is, how much God regretted the act of Creation!
We were chased out of Eden because of the fall, but along with us, the birds and the animals–which had done nothing wrong–were also chased out and spiritually died owing to their fallen owner. Even the great universe is enveloped in total darkness. Who will remove this darkness? An owner must come forward to shine a bright light through that darkness, both in heaven and on the earth. When that happens, God will be so happy that He will sing and dance with joy, and the heavens and the earth will be filled with the joy of receiving their true owner.
I’m not all words and no deeds. Everything I am teaching you came from the foundation of success built on the basis of what I have put into practice and fought for. No matter what the rest of the world says about me, God knows what kind of a person I am. He also knows what I am doing.
To pay indemnity I must suffer even more than Satan does. God is working hard to lead the world onto the path of righteousness. Satan is going through many hardships in order to lead the world in the opposite direction. Yet, unless God makes Rev. Moon suffer many times more than Satan suffers, restoration cannot be brought about. I must know all of Satan’s secrets in order to waylay him and force him toward the right path.
That is why I carried out the Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God. When was it? [January 13, 2001.] That was the beginning of the new world in the new millennium. The year 2000 was also the year I turned 80, the age of Moses. Having passed that age, I carried out the ceremony on thirteenth day of the first month, when I was 81 years old [by Korean reckoning]. So the days that come after the thirteenth stand on the foundation of the Coronation Ceremony. In other words, they are on that level. That is why we were able to carry out the ceremony in the presence of God. Now that we have carried out the ceremony, we must prepare to establish Cheon Il Guk. Don’t you think–now that we have a king–that we must restore a nation and offer it to Him? We must become the kings of families, the kings of tribes; we must stand in a relative position to God, so that we can become the kings of families, tribes, races, nations and the world.
Therefore, we must accomplish everything by the third year of Cheon Il Guk. When did we proclaim Cheon Il Guk? [In 2001.]…The fact that we have the name Cheon Il Guk is amazing in itself.
Since we are standing on that foundation… Originally, I was supposed to become one with Christianity to make a new beginning at the age of 61. I was supposed to accomplish marriage registration. That should have been done when I was 61 years old. Since that could not be brought about, we were finally able to do it when Mother turned 61, since the husband and the wife are one in body. I had to liberate even Mother. When you read Dr. Lee’s book you’ll see it says that God appears as a light like diamonds, and when He moves, the Second Coming appears on His right. That is why Mother has also become a parent of the spirit world, and, as God’s second-self she now appears spiritually.
A time will come when God can teach people as a substantial body. When that happens, the whole world–the whole universe in fact–will be like a big open space, with nowhere to hide, just as it is now on the Internet. The time has come. We can see this by the fact that nowadays we can reach anyone around the world through a mobile phone.
Think about the Holy Marriage Blessing Ceremony of the Parents of Heaven and Earth Opening Cheon Il Guk, conducted on True Parents’ birthday. What that means is that, with the opening of Cheon Il Guk, True Parents were finally able to have a holy wedding ceremony while standing on the foundation of God’s nation. Now that we have opened Cheon Il Guk, we must substantiate it in reality. In order to do so, we must include the True Parent of the Cosmos [God] and the Parents of Heaven and Earth in the nation, with the peace and unity of true love. When we say “peace and unity,” people just understand it in a very ordinary way. The peace and unity of true love refers to the king of blessed families. It does not mean the king of the blessing; it means the king of blessed families. Never before has there been a king of blessed families on earth. When Adam and Eve married, wouldn’t there have been a king of the blessing? The very words, the “holy wedding ceremony of the king of the blessing” means that Adam and Eve, in unity with God, are joined together in holy matrimony.
Look at what happened: Eve fell and married Satan instead. We must take her away from Satan–he must return her to us–and restore everything to the way it was before. Eve must marry once more. With whom? With the Lord of the Second Coming. It is supposed to be like that.
The bloodline that exists in the world right now is a false one. People born of this lineage cannot go to heaven. You must completely reject it. The Lord, who can cut off this lineage, has come and is teaching others how to reject it themselves. He is not doing it by force, as Satan would. He must bring them to submit to him willingly. Even if the Second Coming does not do anything, the people themselves must come to him and say, “I don’t want to be in this lineage. I want to reject it all and inherit your love, life and lineage. I need this, even if I have to give up everything I have a thousand times over.” Only people who can do that can receive the blessing. Have you ever thought about this?
How many hardships have I gone through because of the blessing ceremonies? The truth is, if the other churches had not opposed us, there would have been no indemnity. There would have been no indemnity for the blessed families. Because the other churches opposed and persecuted us, obstacles appeared in our path. I was supposed to unite the world while in my forties. Do you know how shameful it is for this old man to work for world unity at my age? You must abandon your nation and feel ashamed to stand in the presence of God. You have nothing to be proud of. It’s something we have to face. We cannot go around it. Centering on the families, we must even go further than the UN.
By April 10, 2004, we must declare the existence of an Abel-type UN. If no one believes me, we will ignore the U.S. and everyone else, and go ahead and establish it. We have already started preparations for it. Centering on existing lead-ers we will start building an Abel UN, which will stand like a palace on the peaceful base of the heavenly nation. It’s 155 miles. If that is too small for us, we will expand it to three times that size. How big would it be if it were three times larger? We will expand it to three times its original size, and build a blessed and peaceful world of God’s kingship. We must strive for this. Then Korea will be the royal land of the world.
What do you think? Don’t you think there should be such an educational institution and central palace of peace? In order for the heavenly fatherland to appear, we must have a place where we can build this main palace, and even if the world is in turmoil and engaged in a war, I will continue working for that. Even if the world persecutes and opposes me, and even if I am persecuted tens of times more than before, I will make a start on this, because I know everything will then be solved at once when I go to the spirit world.
When that happens, the people of the world will hear about my life and everyone must judge for himself whether I am the most evil person in the world, or the most righteous. Those who still think that I am an evil person after even hearing these words from Heaven are all mistaken. They are saying that because they don’t understand. Among the people who believe that I am a righteous person, there are some that say that as the king of kings, parent of all parents and teacher of all teachers, I have found out the secrets of heaven, earth and Satan. I have worked hard to bring out this truth down to its roots, and centering on God’s royal domain of peace, I was able to conduct the Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God. Not only that, Eve could marry again. But what is God supposed to do about her children? Should He kill them? God was very distraught over losing Eve. How can I say that more clearly? God was so crazy about her; He was even lovesick for her. So when she returned, He said to her, “After you married Satan, everything you did was abominable; you had his children, but now that they have no father I’ll take charge of them.” He took charge of Eve’s children and is now nurturing them as if they were His own. Do you know how sad and miserable God’s position is? Though He has been so miserable, there is no other way to bring about restoration.
Through the holy wedding ceremony, how many have I blessed? 360 million couples! If I don’t give the blessing, there won’t be any foundation upon which the seeds of true olive trees can be sown in fields of wild olive trees.
Until now I have not told you about these things, but from now on, you must know what is going on. If you don’t know, you cannot lift your faces towards heaven and call out to God. Before you cry out for God, you must have tears in your eyes. Since Adam and Eve deceived God with their tears, you must shed tears for Him before you can call out for Him. That is the calling the Christians must answer, the responsibilities that must be fulfilled by the sons and daughters in order to establish heavenly law. You know what I mean by “God’s calling,” don’t you? It is different from a mission. When you are called, you must fulfill the responsibility demanded by your mission.
By centering on God we have carried out the Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God and now have all become kings of the blessing, haven’t we? When we do everything possible to make an Abel UN in the world, and God praises it, Satan will have no choice but to submit. So the more people oppose our work, the more they will come to ruin.
Today is July 7, isn’t it? Do you know what I am going to pray about today? I came here pondering what I should pray about and declare. What I am going to do today is to appoint people. Jesus should come back to earth and straighten out all the different denominations, and so should Confucius, Buddha, Mohammed and the leaders of Communism. They must fulfill their responsibilities.
I must make that declaration. [Voice from the audience: Didn’t you say you would make the declaration on August 15th?] What declaration? Did you think this was the same one? Those ones are the Jerusalem Declaration, the Washington Declaration and the Seoul Declaration. They are declarations made to connect the first, second and third realms of Israel. Weren’t these realms divided? Since I have done that, I am able to carry on with my work.
Shall I conclude now? See for yourselves what the present looks like. Up until now I have married many couples, including those from the 360 million couple blessing, but since True Parents had not registered their own marriage or registered the births of their children, none of the other couples could do those things either. Then with Eve’s return, True Parents must also take in her children and register them as True Parents’ own children.
What do I mean by registration? I am not talking about the time when family registration was done centering on fallen Adam’s family. Centering on the True Parents, who have conducted the Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God, and who are now in the position of the Parents of Heaven and Earth, and centered on the kingship, both marriage and birth registration must be carried out. Do you know what a blessing this is? Have you ever thought about it? Without this being achieved, there is no way for your name to be entered in the family register. For the children of Eve to be registered, they must be registered in their father’s name. Although they are the children of Satan, they must be engrafted then registered, so that at the time of their registration they can become true olive trees just like the owner they have been engrafted to. Then the world of Satan, his clan and hell, will cease to exist. The time when this is to happen is coming soon.
That is why from now on the spirits will not stay only in the spirit world. Do you know what it is I am trying to say today? From now on, if you go to your ancestors’ hometown or your own hometown, or where saints and sages were born, and have received the blessing from True Parents, your ancestors will come down from the spirit world in order to lead you to the Kingdom of Heaven, so that you do not fall in the satanic world.
So, who will go to the Kingdom of Heaven first? Adam, who is on earth, is the older brother. By serving him as the older brother, the ancestors in the spirit world who have aided him will follow him to the Kingdom of Heaven. The grandfather must become the grandson, the father must become the son and the older brother must become the younger brother. The whole world will be turned upside down. In this way, the Kingdom of Heaven, kept empty for thousands of years until now, will be filled in a second.
From now on, the ancestors will be decided. If True Parents are the first generation, the question is who will comprise the second and the third generations. That is why he who has learned all this and yet hesitates to make a move will find himself deprived by others of all potential benefits. He will lose thousands of generations to others if he hesitates even for a minute. Therefore, he must deny himself, the whole world, the universe and the satanic world; he must get a new seed from True Parents. Receiving that seed is resurrection. Resurrection is none other than the blessing.
Starting from individuals, everyone must love and admire Rev. Moon. Women cannot help loving Rev. Moon. Their original minds, feeling shame on account of the false husband, Satan, will bring them to deny themselves when they see the light of the true owner coming with true love. Yet, Rev. Moon will not let them sacrifice themselves. They will all receive the light, and the world will become the liberated realm in which men and the women can receive the blessing and carry out their work freely as leaders.
I have bestowed the blessing, which cannot be repaid in any way in the world. No woman should still come to me to ask for more after having received the blessing. It is not right for people, already burdened to the ground with debts that they cannot repay, to come asking me for more favors.
What do you think? Do you think what I’m telling you are lies, or the truth? How could a person who doubts himself achieve so much and stand in the position of victory without knowing it himself? This was made possible through God, and so I am very much indebted to Him. That is why in January of this year I gave out all I had to the members in the United States before I left.
Now the people of the whole world are brothers and sisters, because they are the children of the True Parents. Since they have registered their marriages at the same time, and they have registered their births at the same time as well, they are like brothers and sisters in front of True Parents. Fathers and sons in the physical world will become brothers in the spirit world. God is a father to the ancestors going back hundreds of generations, as well as to the descendants who will be born in hundreds of generations. Doesn’t that make them brothers? Knowing this, you cannot do just whatever you want to do if you consider how important it is to lead exemplary lives.
