Excerpts from Father’s speech to participants of the Cheon Il Guk Owner Award Candidate Workshop which was held at Cheong Pyeong Training Center, Korea on January 31, 2003
According to the lunar calendar, today is the last day of the second year of Cheon Il Guk, and tomorrow will be the first day of the third year of Cheon Il Guk. Korea is different from the West in that it uses the lunar calendar. This period is an important one.
According to Korean tradition, this is the time of year for people to honor their ancestors, to remember all the patriots, to visit their hometowns and to share grace and blessing with those whom they respect. At this time, millions of people have left their present homes to visit their hometowns. We can conclude from the fact that seventy percent of the population has been on the move that people here have great respect for their ancestors; it indicates they are people who have made conditions to attend Heaven.
While people of this nation are going to their hometowns with one heart and one will, each one of you has been invited to come here as one of three thousand people, selected from all over the world. The number three is a precious number. I see you as chosen heavenly warriors who, being people of hope, have something to show to the people of the world.
Many of you have been in the church for more than twenty or even forty years. Some of you may be quite new to the movement, but I believe that most of you here know what the Unification Church is all about–where it is going and what its purpose is. You are symbols of victory for having invested yourselves to make a connection to God.
One year comprises 365 days. Can one restore a person or a family in those 365 days? Do you think it’s possible or not? In a family, there are grandparents, parents and children.
In the lunar calendar, there are subdivisions of the seasons, twenty-four periods. This means there are two subdivisions in each month, twenty-four subdivisions all together. The spirit world centers around twelve elders, so the number twenty-four is a central number and an absolutely necessary one in forming the structure of heaven and earth. If twenty-four new people were brought every year, in three years there would be seventy-two people; in four years, ninety-six people; in five years, there would be one hundred and twenty people. Anyone could have brought one hundred and twenty people.
At this time of great transition, in which you can be recorded in the book of life in front of Heaven through this memorable occasion on which you are receiving this award, you should reflect upon what you have accomplished. It is a problem if there are more days of sadness and sorrow than of joy in your past.
From various points of view, for God and me, who have been leading the Unification Church and its members, the hope of forty years has been that we, the Unification Church, successfully pass through the realms of the first, second and third Israels in order to resolve all the pain and sorrow in heaven and on earth, thus creating a realm of the special amnesty of liberation centering on the liberation of heaven and earth, and that the Cosmic Parent and the Parents of Heaven and Earth can stand together in the same place of righteousness. The Cosmic Parent and the Parents of Heaven and Earth were to have blessed people who had nothing to do with the fall, but due to the fall, they could not do so. What should have been established by blessing Adam’s family could not be established. When you think of the people of fallen lineage who have been living on earth and entering the spirit world over thousands of years, and those who live on earth now, how many of them, do you think, actually have given God joy and deserve to receive His blessing, and how many of them have caused Him to be truly proud and to want to show them off before the entire universe? Do you think there are such people, or not?
The Heavenly Parent [God] is the Cosmic Parent. The Parents of Heaven and Earth are True Parents on earth. When the Cosmic Parent and the Parents of Heaven and Earth become one and have established Adam’s family–centering on true love, true life and true lineage–everything is fully accomplished. The beginning of that family is the beginning of the restoration of the world and the beginning of the blessing worldwide. That one family is the owner of the key that can open the gate of the heavenly nation. Those who inherited that family’s tradition do not need religion, the Savior, the Messiah, the Lord of the Second Coming or True Parents to go straight to the heavenly nation and to be children of the royal realm who can attend God, centering on the territory of the heavenly kingdom. Knowing that, you should realize that when you add together those in both the spiritual and physical worlds, countless people have never had the chance to receive the blessing from God.
It’s amazing that, including those in both the spiritual and physical worlds, about ten billion people have received the blessing through me over the years. The people called True Parents have given the blessing on behalf of the original ancestors who were to have given it. Why was it done by True Parents? False parents created their position through false love, false life and false lineage, because Adam didn’t fulfill his responsibility. Therefore, in order to perfect Adam, all the mistakes made by the false parents must be erased and destroyed. As God wishes, people of the false olive trees should be grafted into true olive trees. Without having done so, no one can receive the heavenly blessing.
The blessing, however, was not the blessing of total liberation. The first blessing was the church level blessing. The second one was the national level one. People must wait until they are blessed on the third level, the heaven and earth level, so that they can completely open up heaven and earth. This world, created by fallen, evil parents, is a world of evil in which good and the evil are struggling. Religions that were chosen by God to be the Abel that could save the world have not been able to unite before the numerous nations and lead all of humanity and the world to return to God.
Looking at history, we can see that the power of nations has been the power that has been used to persecute religions to this day. Nations have always attacked new religions and religious culture. The evil parties that have tried to rid the world of the one man God has wanted since the fall have filled heaven and earth with their tribes. You must understand how difficult it must have been for God to reach the point where there exists a perfected Adam’s family that has nothing to do with the fall and to give the blessing to them.
After passing through the individual, familial, tribal, national and global stages of indemnity…. At the time of the Second World War, Great Britain, the United States and France fought against Japan, Germany and Italy. Britain was the Eve nation, the United States was the Abel nation and France was the archangel nation. On the satanic side, Japan was the Eve nation, Germany was the elder son nation on Satan’s side and Italy was the archangel nation.
Despite peoples’ desire to advance, throughout the First and Second World Wars, and during the ideological struggles of the Cold War, humanity descended to the very bottom. During that time, many religious people became victims, including six million Jews in the holocaust. Words cannot adequately express how religious people were preyed upon during World Wars I and II.
Since the fall, hundreds of millions of people have been killed. If Adam hadn’t fallen, he would have directly attended and lived with God, receiving God’s blessing in a free and liberated world. All God has wanted is to resolve the sorrow and pain caused by the mistake of one family, but the world has expanded to this state of being out of control. Throughout history, wherever any new religion has begun, the established national authorities have suffocated and persecuted it.
Were nations established by God or by Satan? [By Satan.] Have you seen him do it? You haven’t, yet you know it’s true. Centering on one family, three generations–grandfather and grandmother, father and mother, and young couple–those three couples should try to unite instead of trying to insist on their own opinions being followed or positions adopted. Everyone insists, “I’m the owner and I’m good.” This isn’t the kind of environment God created. As you can see, this world is the result of evil. There was no way God would have created this kind of world. Therefore, we can logically conclude that the evil world and the evil environment did not begin with God’s creation….
God is the invisible Parent. He has no physical form. You must understand the ideal of God’s creation was for the invisible Parent to substantiate Himself. God is the subject who consists of the dual characteristics of essential character and essential form and of the dual characteristics of masculinity and femininity. Centering on God, everything exists in pairs. Every existence is born in water. God is the absolute subject of the dual characteristics of essential character and essential form. In relationship to the whole creation, God is the masculine subject representing its internal character. Why does he have to exist as the internal masculine subject? In relationship to the ideal realm of life, a feminine subject can’t be the one to relate with the realm of life. If God is the subject, the universe is his feminine object. That’s why God can’t be a feminine subject in relation to the universe. Centering on the masculine subject, God has the dual characteristics of essential character and form, and He exists as the masculine subject. God wanted to substantiate His essential nature as the universe. That was the ideal of creation and the reason He created Adam and Eve. Do you understand?
God is the invisible Parent of the universe, but Adam and Eve were supposed to be the visible Parents of Heaven and Earth. Adam and Eve should have been the physical Parents on God’s behalf. God and the Parents of Heaven and Earth should have united in a dual system to represent the physical world.
Why was that so? God, who is an invisible substantial being, exists vertically. He exists in the vertical position. There can be only one center of the universe. Therefore, in the vertical world, there can’t be multiplication. Any being in the universe must create a circle in order to multiply. Multiplication requires space. Circles with up and down, left and right, and front and back should be made to expand limitlessly.
The circles should all be connected to each other. Individual circles, familial circles, national circles, global and universal circles are all examples of God’s internal character on different levels. The reason God created the grand universe was to feel joy based on loving relationships. If God were to laugh, the entire universe, the infinite world, would laugh as well. The universe is as big as to contain hundreds of billions of solar systems. Think about how big it is.
God dominates such an infinite and vast world. Can the limited power of the physical substantial world govern the universe? If you were here and I were at East Garden, we could still be connected through our minds. However, the speed of love is faster than the speed of the mind. It is tens of millions of times faster. When you’re away from your hometown and parents, you can be together with your parents instantly when your heart longs for them. There are devoted children who can instantly know the situation of their parents, patriots connected with their nation and holy sons and daughters who feel the pulse of the universe.
God, who governs the vast world, is the prime moving power of the universe. As a result of God’s being the prime moving power and His having a purposeful character, He established Adam and Eve as the representatives of the invisible substantial realm. Adam and Eve couldn’t just fill their positions. In order to achieve love, those who were chosen to be Adam and Eve had to pass through the formation, growth and completion levels. God also grew up that way. Just as the first Creator went through the courses of growth, Adam and Eve should have passed through formation, growth and completion phases.
Did God start from the earth or from water? Have you thought about that? Was God born in the soil, in the water, in the air or perhaps in the burning sun? [He must have been born from water.] Why water?
When something is buried in the soil, it can’t move. However, water can freely move about. It can be vaporized from the vast ocean and expand to any extent it wants to. The nature of water is that it can infinitely expand.
It would have been easiest for God to be born in the water. Every existing being is like that, too. Centering on plankton, all the animals in the sea sustain their lives. When you look at the sea, you can see animals that look like plants. Do you know about coral? There are various colors and kinds. They are like jewels of many colors.
Do you think the earth or the sea has greater scenic beauty? Divers say that the beauty of mountains and bodies of water on earth are just about the same wherever one goes, but the scenes under the sea vary in different oceans, different environments and different seasons. What divers see is sometimes so beautiful that they would like to stay and look forever if it were possible. As beautiful as the seas are, the beginning of God’s existence must have been incomparably beautiful and pure.
Is water clean or dirty? Does it smell or not? Water doesn’t seem to have any smell and is so transparent that one can see through to the end. It is unquestionably clear and clean, and it can flow through anything as long as there are gaps, no matter how small they are. You know about capillary action don’t you? Water goes up as long as there are some gaps. When you look at the capillary vessels in your body, nourishment can move around through the blood, which flows like water. Nourishment in trees can move up from their roots to the leaves through the water vessels. As we can see, the original nature of creation exists centering around water; we can guess that all things began their existences in water. Seventy five percent of a human body consists of water. It’s as though we live floating in water. Am I right or not? Two thirds of the earth is water!
Without water, the earth is dead. If there weren’t any water, there couldn’t be plants or trees, so there wouldn’t be any forests. Because of the penetrating power of water to deliver nourishment, giant trees can survive. Was a tree used to make this pillar? There are gingko trees as old as 1,200 or 1,500 years. Can people live that long? Think about it. It has been breathing from its roots to its buds as one unit for that long. Which is greater, a human beings or a tree like that? Are people greater than those long-living gingko trees?
Do you think that people will gradually live longer or shorter in the future? [Probably longer and longer.] So, how long do you want to live? Some religious people such as Jehovah’s Witnesses believe and say, “People live forever. Our founder is still alive and local leaders also live for hundreds of years.” Have you met some of them? Although they all died away, they say that they live. Is it true or a lie?
Elder Park Tae-sun1 said that he would live forever but he died. Na Woon-mong1 also said that he would live forever, but his entire membership scattered even before his death. Am I saying that I will die or that I will live forever? Because God is invisible, True Parents are in the position to have to substantiate the invisible God….
If True Parents, having completed their lives on earth, try to take the place of the invisible God even in the spirit world, they would not be able to live there. The entire universe would demonstrate against them saying, “Object beings must not try to be subjects.” The universe would reject True Parents and kick them out.
Do both your mind and body say that they are owners of each other? Don’t they? Do you have minds? Between mind and body, which one is the owner? [The mind.] People in the world don’t even understand this. They just do whatever their bodies tell them to do. If we follow the mind rather than the body, we may even perish from hunger, or endure loneliness. Yet, if we fight strongly against the body we can gain dominion over heaven and earth.
Humanism, based upon Greek philosophy, is a philosophy of power. Greek philosophy was based on the law of the jungle–the weak are the prey of the strong. In nature, the principle is that the stronger always preys upon the weaker; yet this is not in keeping with the realm of human conscience. A philosophy based on the goals of human conflict emerged, and the result was materialism and the logic of struggle based on the dialectic.
Marx didn’t know that men had fallen. He knew that the conscience–that is, the mind, and the body–are struggling, and concluded that struggle is the essence of human nature and the fundamental origin of the universe. Based on the dialectic view of development through conflicts and struggles, he developed a materialistic view of history. He came to believe that heaven and earth existed through those principles.
Communists don’t have any sense of purpose or sense of direction at their core. They can lie and cheat, depending on the situation. They believe it is good to use any means possible to reach whatever objectives they might have at the time. Cheating and disguising their strategy is the first thing to be learned in their world. Therefore, the communist world will inevitably disappear from the earth. As long as God exists, such an ideology cannot remain in the world. Without Rev. Moon’s teaching, no matter how hard Communism tries to expand the extent of its approval, it can’t happen in this universe. Communism will naturally disappear in time. That’s the conclusion one comes to.
So, do you want to be owners or something else? Do you want to be subjects or objects? [We want to be subjects.] You want to be subjects, do you? Then, what is God? If you become subjects, God is the subject, so, plus verses plus, you’ll end up fighting against Him, won’t you? No matter how great a person is, no matter how hard one tries, as long as there is God and as long as the Principle of Creation exists, people can never be subjects, can we? [We can’t.] Can you? [We can’t.] You wretches! How can you when True Parents say that you can’t?
In that respect, not even True Parents can be trusted. You should not trust True Parents if we say “yes,” when we should say “no,” or vice versa. To be true parents, true teachers, true elder brothers, true fathers or true neighbors, you should say “right” if it is right and you should say “wrong” if it is wrong.
Do you have two minds and bodies or just one? Those of you whose minds and bodies are struggling should raise your hands. Raising just one hand isn’t enough. Why don’t you raise both of your hands? Well, two hands aren’t enough. Why don’t you raise all four limbs? Do you want to raise all four limbs and fly in the sky announcing as you go, “I’m so and so, the rascal,” or do you want to hide and say, “I’m so and so the good guy”? If you fly in the sky and let the whole world know how bad you are, it is good in terms of the reasoning that frankness is an expression of righteousness. However, when you announce that you are the worst of people, I wonder if you can truly like yourself.
There are no two entities in the world that can continue to like each other while fighting. There can’t be two subjects. One of them should be a subject and the other should be an object as the beginning point of the ideal of peace. There can’t be any peace between a husband and a wife each of whose own mind and body are fighting against each other. There can’t be peace when there are six people whose minds and bodies are struggling against each other as twelve separate divisions. People who insist on following in the footsteps of those whose motivation is self-centered are crazy people.
Did you say that your minds and bodies struggle? [Yes, we did.] Why did people like you come here to receive this award? You came because you heard that True Parents had said that the age of the historic, grand blessing had come and I would give you an award, didn’t you? Have you come here with your minds and bodies united, filling you with hope, or are your minds and bodies still struggling as you sit here and as I speak to you? If your minds and bodies are still struggling, is it more likely that you are swindlers or children of God? I’m quite certain that such people are bound to be swindlers. You must admit that you’re more likely to be swindlers than children of God.
Are you fully qualified to participate in this? Or did you come just because you had heard that True Parents would give away awards? Have you come here with hearts full of joy and with your minds and bodies dancing around? What? The Western group, Japanese group and Korean group all have different stories. Would all the answers be the same or different from members of five different races? They couldn’t be the same. If there were thousands of groups, there would be thousands of different divisions. As long as that’s the case, could there be any foundation for peace or not? The logical conclusion is that there couldn’t be peace.
What do you want? You came because True Parents told you to come, but how do you know if True Parents are true parents or false parents? Have I asked you to come because I need young people to fight so I can be the president of a unified Korea, or because I want to enable you to become the president? Which one is it? If those who are in the position of a parent want to be the president by sacrificing young people, they are false parents. If those who are in the position of parents are willing to sacrifice themselves to bring up evil people to be good sons and daughters of God, they are good parents. That’s the logical conclusion….
Without understanding which side of conflicting parties is on the righteous side, and without becoming people who absolutely surrender their bodies to their consciences, which are closer to God, the road to God is totally confusing and full of ups and downs. However, God runs along a highway.
Isn’t that so? God’s speed is such that He can go around hundreds of billions of Galaxies in a second. How fast can God move? The speed of love is immeasurably fast….
Because of the order of love, although the existing world goes through numerous changes of environment, it goes up when it should go up and it goes down when it should go down. No matter how things change, spring, summer, fall and winter–the four seasons–never cease to come in order. The course of human life and the course of the universe also moves according to laws. Over the ages, whatever you have created centering on God’s absolute love, unique love, unchanging love and eternal love will remain as your absolute, unchanging and unique love! Will you say amen to that? Will you say “amen” or “mansei” to it? [Mansei!] Say “Mansei”!
If we say “mansei” a hundred million times, it takes too long, so if we put the word og [one hundred million] in front of it, we can say “og mansei” and that will do it. Countless manseis means the kingdom of peace. You should become sons and daughters of God who miss the heavenly kingdom as your original hometown, and who say, “Our hometown is the place where we live with God.” There is nothing more honorable and dignified than to be sons and daughters of the glorious Creator, and to have the pride of attending Him as your father.
So, what kind of people came here today? Have you come here to give awards? Have you come here to offer awards to me or to receive awards from me? Can you save face or not? You might say, “I have followed Father like his shadow in this world, where he has been persecuted and rejected. So, why on earth is Father tormenting me?”
Is a shadow more precious or is the substance more precious? For that reason, I told you to be like the shadow at noon, which is completely one with its substance. You should be people without any shadow.
So, say that you should settle at noon. No matter how ugly you are, say, “I’m the incarnation of God.” Which part of God do you want to be? Do you want to be a part of God’s heart or God’s fingernail or a part of God’s eye wax? Which part of God do you want to be? [Part of God’s heart.]
Then what? Do you long for some power or honor that makes you feel like you’re the king of the world according to your mind’s desires? That’s not what God wants. No one can stand in a higher position than God can. No one can have greater power than God has. No one can be more knowledgeable or honorable than God. God doesn’t need crazy people who are after honor or fame. God needs only those who seek true love.
Because God wants to create an object by investing absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal love, you should all imitate God in loving your spouse and children with a heart of absolute love, with an unchanging, unique and eternal heart. That’s all there is to it.
Does God have a wife or not? When there is a masculine subject, what would he want to have? He would want to substantiate himself and to be one with a feminine substantial being. When the plus and minus meet, there comes a thunderous sound with light that can shine through all of heaven and earth. It could be the beginning of the world of golden peace, and the world of brightness. It might be terrifying to see that world, but there is hope in that world.
Man is way out in the east and woman is way out in the west. God is on the top and the sun is at the bottom. The children gather in the middle. In the middle, there are children and people. All together, it starts to move. Centripetal force and centrifugal forces are at work. When the centripetal force is at work vertically, it is connected to the horizontal power and circular motion comes about. Due to the centripetal force and the centrifugal force, movement occurs.
Neither centripetal nor centrifugal force alone can cause motion. Vertical force alone or horizontal force alone can’t do anything. The point where the horizontal and vertical forces can freely move through 360 degrees with absolute, unique, unchanging love is where God wants to stay every day forever and to sleep every night if He ever sleeps. You should accept as a logical conclusion that this would be God’s dream come true.
Do you want to live with God? If so, is there a greater possibility for your mind to exist close to God or for your body to exist close to God? There’s a greater possibility for your mind to do so. Do you know that? Your body is antagonistic toward your mind. It casts shadows on your mind. It stops the sunlight from getting through to your mind. You must understand clearly that your body makes you self-centered and eventually motivates you to do evil. You must clearly understand the fall. You must understand what the fall was all about.
Why do you need to understand the fall? The origin of the struggles between mind and body never remains as mere theory but is demonstrated in actuality. So, people for countless generations into the future must also follow the way of being together with God. You must clearly and systematically understand the truth and establish yourself confidently with absolute, unchanging, eternal and unique value. Otherwise, you won’t be able to become an owner of the world of mind who can live close to God. Will you be able to or not? [We won’t!]
So far, because you haven’t understood, you have existed with your mind and body in a state of struggle. Now, we have Cheong Pyeong. The hospital will be dedicated on the fifth of February. It will be the Cheong Shim Hospital! Can those who have a pure heart be cured or not? Those who are pure hearted have no base for Satan; they provide no nourishment for Satan to feed on.
So those who come to the Cheong Shim Hospital will be in an environment in which they can forget their sickness. Worried people who always ask, “When will I recover?” and always demand, “Medicine! Medicine! Medicine!” whenever they see a doctor, are bound to change in such an environment. They will say, “How beautiful nature is! I wish I could climb that hill. It has so many peaks. I wish I could go up to the same peaks Father has visited. I wish I could fish where Father has fished.” I believe those patients who are intoxicated with the beauty of nature even to the point that they forget about sleeping and eating will be naturally cured! [Amen!]
If you love this place more than God does, if you love the fish in this water more than God does, if you enjoy the beauty of the forest here more than God does, if you earnestly feel that this place is truly yours–if you have such a joyful and free heart–your sickness will leave you. In that way, this hospital will be a place to heal all kinds of diseases. This is the place where the spirit world will and can take care of the sickness of the patients.
So, have you come to the right place or not? Because you’ve come to the right place, will you live or die? [We’ll live.] Jesus said, “Whoever seeks to gain his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.” Have you come here to be trained in how to live properly or in how to die properly? [How to live properly.] Have you come here to forget and to bury yourselves or have you come here to brag and to boast about yourselves? Have you come here thinking, “I’m better than anybody here, including Hoon-mo nim or even God”? Have you come here with such destructive thoughts? What are your thoughts?
Those who are willing to be sacrificial offerings, the biggest sacrificial offerings possible, even bigger than God or True Parents, will surely end up in the house of God, in Jehovah’s home, and in the original hometown! This is truly, truly truth. Amen to the truth and mansei to the truth. You must make a new resolution–or don’t you need to?
You should be so intoxicated with nature here that you forget about getting an award. You should change yourselves into people who are willing to cross over mountain after mountain, to swim across the seas repeatedly and even to fly in order to be doing what I ask of you. To become new selves, you should get rid of all your garbage.
You should be like clean air or clear vapor in the air. Where there is high pressure, you’ll be clouds high above. Where there is low pressure, you’ll be clouds low in the sky. You should be the kind of people who feel that everywhere they go is the heavenly kingdom. The logical conclusion is that those who feel such joy can surely be inheritors of the heavenly nation. That’s my certain conclusion. If, starting from tomorrow, you invest all of yourselves into becoming the owners of this place on my behalf and on behalf of God, His original hometown will surely be your own home.
Following the name of God’s nation, we should have new family names and qualify ourselves to register in the heavenly nation and to receive this award. You should offer your award back to God and True Parents, so as to fulfill the role of owners who can share the honor of the award through True Parents. If you do that, you will be people of goodness. Do you think that you would be people of righteousness if you were to think that your descendants should take advantage of your award and make money from tourists who will visit this place in the future?
You should build homes God and True Parents want to visit. You should cause them to say, “You have done something I’ve never done. You’ve done things God has always wanted to do.” God may want to invite True Parents over to your place, saying, “True Parents, come here. This house is better than ours. It’s better than we ever thought possible. They have become sacrificial offerings who absolutely belong to the heavenly realm. Beyond our eternal history, aren’t they victors who have automatically perfected the realm of God’s ideal of creation–people whose names are connected with and belong to True Parents, who have received True Parents’ love and will continue to do so?…”
You must be able to say, “I am someone in the position of a prince who can restore all the failures of the archangel in every part of the world and successfully comfort God,” someone whom God, True Parents and everyone will approve of–a son or daughter who inherits the position of a prince or princess and serves God as the king in the palace of the heavenly nation.
I would be amazed and even God would be moved, saying, “Wow! You’re so much better than I am.” If you can reach that level… A true king would say to his loyal subject that the subject is much better than the king himself. A true parent would say to his devoted children that they are better than the parent himself. Those who have big enough hearts to say that devoted children and loyal subjects [patriots] are better than themselves are true kings and true parents. God, the King of Kings who created heaven and earth, should praise the Parents of Heaven and Earth by saying, “You are better than I.” Only then can the Parents of Heaven and Earth rightfully find the place of parents. When the Parents of Heaven and Earth praise someone, that person is approved of both by God, as the internal Father, and by the external Father. Such a person could have a nameplate on his or her forehead allowing them to go in and out of the heavenly palace freely. Even if there were 360 different doors, I could go freely in and out of those doors.
If you were to compete with God, you might say, “God, didn’t I do better than you? True Parents, didn’t I do better than you, too? You haven’t been in and out of all the 360 doors but I have. So I’m better than you.” Then God would say, “You are better than I am. So, on My behalf, you should become the keeper of all the 360 doors and be the boss of those people who are in the heavenly kingdom and hell in the spirit world.”
You have to be better than an archangel and substantiate and keep the way of devoted children, patriots, saints and divine sons and daughters in order to begin the realm of liberation on earth and to liberate hell. You should be able to inherit such a world. You should be the kind of people whom everyone would wish are free and in true peace. When you become such kings or princes of joy, you can be heavenly, royal children of the heavenly kingdom! [Amen!]
There is no one who doesn’t want or desire this. It’s possible for anyone to reach this goal. As you understand the attitude in life you should have in order to make it possible, I hope all of you will win the first prize. I hope that all of you who came here to receive the award will inherit the kingship of the heavenly nation in the spirit world and will inherit the victorious royal power of God’s joy and dream in the heavenly kingdom on earth. Before I give you the award, I am telling you what kind of qualification you should have to receive it. You shouldn’t forget what I’ve told you today. I sincerely hope that you’ll invest yourselves, investing all of your effort and heart, eventually offering the flowers and fruit of your lives to the storehouse of the heavenly nation! Amen!
So, why don’t you say, “The first prize is mine.” The first prize is…? [Mine!] You don’t even want to think about being last! You should think this way, and then you’ll all be able to win the first prize. If you all come in first and cross the finish line within a second, will God and True Parents be happy or unhappy?
If God is happy, True Parents are happy too. If True Parents, the Parents of Heaven and Earth are happy, those who win the first prize, having inherited everything from God and their brothers and sisters, will be happy. Isn’t the heavenly and earthly kingdom of God the place where there are families who love and respect each other? You must remember that you are participating here in order to contribute to creating such a world. I truly pray that all of you will win the first prize. I sincerely pray for you! Amen!
