A summary of some of the main content of Father’s words to members on the occasion of True Parents’ Day, April 16, 1999
The pages of history up to now have been wrong. Now they are being turned, and from the next pages God’s new record [highest-level of achievement] begins, starting with the family, the tribe, the race, the nation, the world and the cosmos. The new record required by the cosmos is to become a true parent.
Divine Principle is a heavenly and eternally unchanging principle. It is not merely a doctrine. True Parents are not teaching a Unification Church dogma. This teaching is to allow fallen human beings to find heaven. What kind of teaching is necessary for people who live in the realm of heaven? There is the need for the principles of heavenly law.
The words of today’s title are both the most fearful and the best: “The 40th True Parents’ Day is the Beginning of the Era of the Opening Up (with the accompanying meaning of upheaval or cataclysmic change) of Heaven and Earth.” What is the cataclysmic change in heaven and on earth? It means the upheaval of heaven and earth. Woman becomes man, man becomes woman. Grandfather becomes grandson. Father becomes son of daughter, a servant does whatever his daughter orders. Relationships are in disorder. Everything is destroyed. With what can we rebuild order? With true love. True Love cannot exist without centering on God. Because of the upheaval of heaven and earth, heaven and earth are reversed, so hell becomes heaven and heaven becomes hell. We think of heaven as the higher place, but after the reversal of heaven and earth, heaven comes to be in the lowest position. True love is realized not in the higher place, but in the most difficult place.
As a man of forty years, True Father, having resolved the contents of the fall and completed restoration through indemnity, was able to meet a woman. But this woman did not know anything. She did not know about restoration through indemnity, nor did she know the Principle well. She had to be taught completely. But now, she has become more famous than her teacher, hasn’t she?! I taught Mother Japanese as well as English. I completely supervised the content of her speech and prepared her for going out to speak. Mother made effort, and received more praise than I did—so I feel so good all over from the soles of my feet! (Applause.) What I worked hard for and accomplished in eighty years, Mother accomplished in four years. In four years, Mother reached an equal position.
I am holding the spiritual world in my right hand, and the physical world in my left. I have to grab firmly onto the world that Satan has turned upside down, and turn it back the right way up. After everything is turned upside down by the upheaval of heaven and earth, individualism becomes cosmos-ism, and the greedy man becomes not so: one who likes delicious food cannot go to heaven unless he also likes bad-tasting food. Because I know these things, I prepared in advance and trained myself to be able to go back and forth between heaven and earth.
Now in the spirit world even someone who died as a baby just a few months old can be raised by his ancestors, and when he reaches 16 years of age, can be blessed. They will marry with the descendants of their parents’ enemies, thus paying much indemnity horizontally. Then everything will be resolved. I am making the spirit world horizontal. I have matched saints and evil people. All are given the same value. This was done at the blessing of 120 million couples on June 13 last year.
For those who received the blessing there is no Satan, Paradise or middle spirit world. Father has made them all one level and has opened the gates of hell for the sake of liberation. That is the meaning of the 4.4 Jeol, which I declared in Kodiak, Alaska. On January 8 this year I declared the cosmic 4.4 Jeol in Punta del Este.
What is the traditional foundation upon which the Unification Church must go forward? True Parents, True Family and True Blood Lineage. This is the main theme that I have directed you to hold rallies on. A blessed family is the family-level true parents, a tribal messiah is the tribal true parent, a national messiah is a national true parent, Father is the global true parent and God is the cosmic true parent. “True Parent” is a bridge. The question is which level of true parent your family has attained.
Tribal messiahs must turn their tribes upside down: that is the beginning of heaven and earth. The descendants of seven generations become the ancestors of seven generations. Where else could the reversal of heaven and earth be? Liberate 120 generations of ancestors and 120 generations of descendants.
Father must bring the satanic world into submission through his physical body. As a perfect man, I must disentangle the universe. Satan has totally destroyed the body, hasn’t he? With the body of perfected Adam, Father must destroy the satanic world.
Who is doing Hoon Dok Hae the best? [Father.] Why do I need to do Hoon Dok Hae? I do not. But humankind lost the word, so that I have to begin again. Even though I am Father I am not treated like the Father. Please realize that I am making effort to rebuild the Father’s authority.
