Father’s Speech During True Parents’ Birthday Celebration Held On February 2, 1998 At Central Training Center, Su Taek Dong Kuri City, Korea
FATHER’S PRAYER BEFORE SPEAKING
Heavenly Father! We know that within the flow of the ages, one being is less significant than a speck of dust. And when we come to know how exalted the authority of Adam and Eve was and the dignity of their position as the lords of creation which You bequeathed to them, we are awe-stricken beyond expression.
In front of God, our original Parent, we could not establish our dignity or our honor, and we could not fulfill the duties of filial children, of loyal patriots in the ideal nation which You hoped for, of the saints whom You hoped for in the ideal world, or of the children of God whom You hoped for in the completion of the Kingdom of God on earth and in heaven. The Unification Church knows that it was Your great, high and broad will to bequeath to humankind the entire universe at the point when humankind came to possess the authority of the children of God.
When I say “I,” I do not mean a Korean “I. We should consciously be aware that God has invested us with the authority of being the representatives of all individuals, families, peoples and nations, as well as of the world and the entire cos-mos. Furthermore, through love God has called and established us and through the True Parents has been training us. We should be grateful that we have become those who can even think about such a position. We must recognize the benefits of the Blessing and the fact that we have a relationship with and the love of this tradition of cosmic, historical content.
The individual standard of absolute love, the family and tribal standards of absolute love, and the standards of absolute love of the people, nation, world and cosmos, up to the standard of the absolute love of God-all of which are connected-all these standards are united within the realm of one family. There they are able to progress from being created through to growing until reaching the point of perfection. No one knew this until now. We sincerely thank You, Father, that now, through the words of the Divine Principle and through the contents of the teaching given by the True Parents, the Unification Church members can have such a position.
I could not forget this land of Korea, which is to become the homeland, and I have come here again, Father. Now that I have come, You know the unspeakable things that are here. Thus I could not help but begin to hold the Hoon Dok Hae in order to tie together a foundation of heart. This is the homeland with which I have an eternal relationship, such that if I cannot live here in the Kingdom of God on earth, I will live here in the eternal Kingdom of God. Therefore, I came here and began the Hoon Dok Hae. Today the national messiahs from every nation of the world have gathered here to celebrate True Parents’ Birthday. Leaders of the people and representatives of important organizations have also gathered together here. Heaven, please teach them. These Hoon Dok Hae have begun in order to bequeath to them the position of glorious and victorious leadership–the foundation which heaven has worked to achieve. With all these words of the Completed Testament, having arrived at the great transitional period of the Completed Testament Age, even if one does not have the authority of the liberated, chosen people of heaven, any person can stand in the position of the chosen people and through the ancestors of the chosen people can overcome the works of the historical ages on earth and in heaven. Because of our ancestors becoming one with True Parents in place of the claim of Israel, through claiming the realm of liberation by connecting one’s clan from top to bottom, we have reached the age of the blessing of all people. Thank You for this Blessing that You have given us.
I hope that the people who have gathered here can become Your children who will be blessed. May your holy will of the 360 million couples unite the hearts of the people nationwide. May the shout of liberation, the call of “mansei” ring out and bring light forever in the traditional spirit of the homeland. And may each individual examine himself and take responsibility to carry that spirit to all nations. Let each individual spread this way of the Blessing throughout the world. I pray this earnestly. I sincerely ask and desire that the blessing of heaven go to all nations on this occasion of the 78th and 55th birthday celebrations of the True Parents, and that through the Hoon Dok Hae we will have today, much blessing will come down upon the leaders gathered here from 185 nations as well as upon all the people of all those nations. I hope that they will go forward to the world of the liberation of all nations by possessing the almighty power of the whole history. I proclaim and pray all these things in the names of the True Parents. Amen.
FATHER’S MESSAGE
I assume that those who have come here for the first time today may find some of what you have heard shocking and at the same time strange. When I say strange, I do not mean it in a bad sense, but rather that the words you heard are higher than any others you have heard before. It would be good if you think of it in that way. This message did not come about as the ideas of Reverend Moon. It has a vast, enormous content, which contains the perfection of the individual, as well as the perfection of the family, tribe, clan, nation and world, and the perfection of the Kingdom of God on earth and in heaven, and the realm of the liberation of God. This message has not appeared before now in this society in any education-al material. Because in future historical ages as well there will not be any educational materials with this content of the ideal, I believe that these materials alone can move all of history. This is not merely an assertion, it is a fact.
We lost Adam’s family because they fell. That is, Adam’s family died. Because of whom? Because of a woman. Women should know that. The first Adam was a husband; he could have become the lord of the universe; he could have been the leader of a nation; he could have been the head of the family; he could have become her husband. It was that kind of man the woman caused to fall. Causing him to fall was the same as killing him, because it prevented him from having a relationship with God’s love. In terms of the lineage, our lineage should be united with the lineage centered on life centered on God’s love.
THE DEVIL IS CALLED SATAN
Satan is an adulterer against God’s love, the adulterer of love. Owing to the violation of the adulterer, since the first man and woman were connected due to the love of the adulterer, God could not touch them. He could not interfere. You must understand that. The reason God who has such power could not interfere when Adam and Eve fell is because He was not in a position to tell them to do this or that when they were attacked by the adulterer. He could not interfere in their area of responsibility any more than He could beat them to death or make them invisible. You should know this. If the night before a husband who has true love is going to marry his true wife, that wife is taken by his enemy and her chastity violated, in the concept of love, can that husband protect his wife or not? Therefore, you must understand that the woman,
Eve, killed Adam. Because he was killed in the family, from the viewpoint of God’s honor, this cannot be restored in the family. Because God cannot establish His honor without establishing a nation and winning in the nation, the Old Testament Age was to prepare a place to win on the national level. This content is dumbfounding.
What does the word promise mean? You need to know that they did not have a marriage ceremony. Therefore, the words Old Testament, New Testament and Completed Testament came into existence. This means that in spite of the fact that the ideal of creation was the ideal of the true family in which Adam and Eve, the first ancestors of humankind, could have become one centered on true love, centered on the true love of God, their blood lineage was changed and they went into the bosom of the enemy. You need to know how precious the position of Adam and Eve was in their lineage, for how many generations they were the only begotten sons and daughters. Perhaps among you there is someone here whose only son was killed or whose only daughter died. Throughout your whole life your heart burns with sorrow, and you can never forget that day. If your child was the seventh generation of being an only child, it would be worse. After how many generations of only children did Adam and Eve appear? Adam and Eve were like the only son and only daughter after hundreds of millions of generations. They existed only once in history. The shock and sorrow of God when He lost Adam and Eve cannot be expressed. No one knows the grievous situation which God has endured.
THE SUFFERING OF KOREA
The pitiable Korean people are the people in Asia who could not go beyond the boundary line of their 5,000-year history filled with groans, suffering, persecution and invasion. God took pity on them because of their history of blood and tears which has left complaints in their hearts. Our Korean peninsula has been invaded 932 times. Carrying that sorrow, how many times have the people of this nation been ripped apart and trampled upon? The God of sorrow could not help but consider this nation of sorrows as He searched for a nation. It is the same as a person to be pitied feeling sympathy for another pitiable person. It was to their benefit that the Korean people were in such a position. Korea has a tradition of the lineage being traced through the eldest sons. Even if someone is like a grandfather to the person in the position of the eldest son of the lineage, he must unite with him and have respect for his position. It is amazing that this basic mind set was preserved like a record in the history of God’s providence of restoration. And the Korean people were traditionally a people who dressed in white; but this is not the time to talk about that.
Because of one woman, Eve, Adam died. The first son died. Because God lost him in the family, in view of the dignity of God, He must find him in the nation. From the view-point of God’s dignity, in order to find him in the nation, He cannot just look for him. In order to establish the national level, a thought system of the people needs to appear. Centering on the individual whom God needs, the family which God needs, the tribe, people and nation which God needs, for 2,000 years after Jacob God went the way of suffering, walking a very complicated path. When you come to realize that, when you come to understand the work God has done, it is no problem to crawl on your knees and to weep aloud. Your tears will be like a waterfall, your nose will run, and you will drool. All three kinds of liquid will flow with the pain of the heartbreak you feel, and you will discover that you are a sinner who does not deserve to be forgiven even if you repent.
You must know how frustrated God is. It is not that way because God did something wrong, but because His son and daughter did something wrong. Why does God need sons and daughters? He needs them in order to realize the ideal of love. Love cannot be realized alone. You all have love, don’t you? You all have life, don’t you? Every man and woman has them. And you all have lineage-sperm and egg-don’t you? You cannot realize it alone. The atmospheric pressure is pressing each square centimeter in an equally balanced way. Because it is in equilibrium everywhere, we cannot feel it. Do you understand what I mean? You should know this clearly. If something is in equilibrium, can you feel it? If we put something here like this, we do not know whether it is there or not. Do you count how many times you blink your eyes? If you start counting, within three hours you lose count. Try it once. One, two, three. Do you count how many times you breathe? I am trying to get at why you cannot feel it. If you put your right hand on the left side of your chest, you feel your heart beating. Can you hear your heart beat? If you listen to it through a stethoscope, the sound of it is louder than that of a bomb dropping. If a tiny little fly appears in our environment and moves even slightly, we are aware of it, but as we live are we conscious of the bomb-like sound of our heartbeat which is hundreds of times louder? When we are so busy for several months or a half year, living almost like a madman, we may go for decades without sensing it. That is because we are one with it.
THE ROOT OF LOVE
Then where is God? God is the root of life; God is the root of love. We cannot deny it. God is the root of love, the root of life, the root of lineage; God is the root of the conscience. Where is God? If He is the root, is He at the bottom or at the top? He is at the bottom. Because He is the root, He is in the deepest place. But because the mind and body are one, we cannot feel it. As men and women, you all have love. Whether a person is handsome or ugly, at any rate, a man needs a woman and a woman needs a man. Even if an ugly woman appears before a handsome man, if that man is longing for someone to love, a loving feeling begins to bloom. Love is exciting, life is exciting, and the blood in their veins boils. You have all felt that, haven’t you? As young men and women, what boiled within you when you were dating? Could you feel your heart beating or not? (Yes.)
Perhaps there are some people who have come from the countryside from noble families, but what is that noble class? How noble can a person be who cannot feel love? How can a person who does not know love become the master over another? How can he become a husband? I am speaking frankly. If a beautiful woman appears before a handsome man, a shock more frightening than thunder and lightning occurs. That is why men and women are told to be careful. If one is not careful, he can lose his sense of direction and be caught by the nose, by the hand, by the foot or by the eye. Do you understand?
The path of love is the search for absolute love. In relation to searching for the way of God’s absolute love, does absolute refer to two or to one? (One.) The word absolute definitely refers to one. Then if we have all the ideal women and ideal men which the love of men and women are hoping for, and if all are hoping for absolute love, is that love one or two? (It is one.) Aren’t there two directions? There are two starting points, aren’t there? (No.) Is that something momentary or eternal? (It is eternal.)
The woman killed Adam. As was mentioned before, after the parents are victorious, next in the realm of the chosen people there must be the foundation of the individual, the family, and the tribe. Then the foundation of the nation must be dealt with. What does this mean? What was the fall of Adam and Eve? They lost their chastity in their youth. They fell as youth. It was the spring season. This is the seed that was sown at the beginning of human history. Because of this, the family was turned upside down. The family was destroyed. Its order was reversed. What can God do about the reversal of order in the family? In order to bring it back into its proper order, from where can it be reversed? Satan is holding onto everything. It cannot be done through Adam and Eve. Switching it back is done through the youngest son. That is why throughout Biblical history and until now people have said that God loved the second son because he was “a blood sacrifice.” But they have not understood what they were talking about.
Even Satan knows that God is the original Lord of humankind. Because this is a problem rooted in love, if one loves one can take possession of the blood line age, of life and of love. Thus, because of Satan’s love, humankind is connected to Satan’s life and Satan’s lineage, an d everything is reversed. Then if God wants to restore this, how can it be done? Eve n though Satan is in possession of everything, he knows he is not the original Lord. The position of the origin al Lord is the center, and he is stubbornly standing in a relative position by force. But because he is in an opposing position, in spite of his conscience being an absolute plus, centering on the body which is in an opposing position another plus came into existence. So they are repelling each other.
THE CONFLICT BETWEEN MIND AND BODY
For this reason, the mi n d an d body are fighting. You should understand that you are human beings who cannot escape from the history of conflict of these two people. No one should speak arrogantly. Whether you are a president, a congressman or whatever, you are caught by the nose like that. You should know that from the time of the first human ancestors until now, it is because of the conflict between the mind and body that throughout the ages of history, sorrowful battles connected history, creating complicated circumstance s and a history of chaos in the family and chaos in society. Who will stop this conflict? Originally, if humankind had not fallen, since the mind would be an absolute plus an d the body an absolute mi nus, centered on love they could automatically become one; but humankind put its roots in the love of the body, and because the body became another plus, the hi story of conflict came about. Until this is completely solve d there cannot be unity. Because of this, religions have sought to overcome the body. They have guided people to be gentle and humble, to go to the lowest place. Satan is arrogant and goes up, but religion advocates a way 180 degrees opposite, instructing people to go down and to sacrifice and serve others.
I do not know whether some provincial governors have come today or not, but such people usually try to establish their authority. They tell others, “You must do what I say.” They are very commanding. They do not realize that this is the fallen world. In regards to the daily life you have been living, does your body pull your mind around or does your mind pull your body around? This is the issue. Why does the body drag the mind around? What made it that way? We have not realized that it was because of the fall. We did not know about the fall. People who do not know about the fall cannot know about salvation. They do not think they are in need of salvation. People who do not know the y have a disease do not think the y need any treatment. Isn’t it like that these days? It is the same as with something like cancer. People go along calmly for three or four years without knowing they have it, and then they die. Today, due to the human fall, people are in a natural prison, in a natural execution ground . Satan has the gallows ready an d waiting, but people live without knowing that. As a consequence of knowing how serious the fall is, one can come to know how serious repentance and liberation are. The more one come s to know the s or-row which filled God’s heart after the fall of humankind, the more one cannot help but sympathize with God. We come to understand that God is our Parent. Today all the religious people go before that pare n t and pray, “God, take responsibility for my difficulties. You alone take responsibility for all the difficulties and forgive me.” There are so many people praying this way an d expecting to receive blessings. Do not be disappointed if I call you thieves. If you are on Satan’s side, you are like thieves. There are a lot of people like thieves. Our Unification Church member s do not pray like that. We seek the liberation of God. We seek the liberation of the parents, the liberation of the nation, the liberation of the world. We cannot become thieves saying self-centered prayers. Therefore, the world opposes us.
THE PATH OF DENIAL
The religious world orders people to leave their homes. Why must we leave our home s? We must deny our nation; we must deny heaven and earth; we must deny the world; we must deny our people; we must deny our tribe; we must deny our family, our grandfather and grandmother, our mother and father, our husband if we have one and our wife; couples must deny each other. We must deny our sons and our daughters; we must deny everything. That is why people are ordered to leave their homes. We must go back to the position of zero. The providence of salvation is the history of recreation. If we think of it as a factory manufacturing goods, everything which was made according to the blueprint has been destroyed. The re for e, through a new blueprint everything must be repaired. The providence of salvation is the hi story of recreation, but in the creation, all of the created beings, including the water, air and soil, have no concepts; the y do not have ideas. How about you? You brag that you are a congressman, a minister or such and such. You carry such ragged baggage around with you. But owing to your stench, the nation is being ruined. You have been selling out the world. You should know that you cannot help but be judged, and the judgment which is coming in this history of sorrow is the Last Days. Do you know that or not? (Yes.) I thought you would not like hearing this, but I am grateful that you say you know it. There is hope for you.
So we need an Eve nation. Eve must be given rebirth. Centering on the Israelite people, the realm of the chose n people was formed. The establishment of the realm of the chosen people is evidence of the existence of God. The fact that religion s order people to leave their home s i s also evidence that God exists. And the n what? Do the y tell people to have conjugal relationship or to remain celibate? (To be celibate.) To be celibate! Why? The person who can become the parent of humankind had not yet been able to marry, therefore the se false human beings could not be married. The sexual organs of the original, unfallen Adam and Eve of God’s ideal should become one together with God, centered on true love, and should become the palace, the base of operations to connect to life and lineage. They are the original palace of love. They are the original castle of love. Do you understand? Did you think about the sexual organs in that way?
THE PALACE OF LOVE, LIFE AND LINEAGE
The sexual organs are the original palace of love, the original palace of life and the original palace of line age. Because no individual can be born and no nation can be born without passing through this point, this cannot be denied . The seed of love , the seed of life, and the seed of line age are in the original palace of love, but humankind did not form a direct relationship with God. This became a wicked situation, and heaven and earth were turned upside down. The sexual organs became the worst thing. But people who think they are great are licentious and talk nonsense. None of them can go to
heaven. As I searched for this way, as I went into the spirit world and looked around and came to know this fact, do you have any idea how many time s I said, “Oh no; it would have been better if I did not know this.”? There are peaks upon peaks. If the individual wall i s this high, the family wall is higher, an d the tribal wall is higher, and the clan wall is higher, and the nation’s wall is higher, and the world’s wall is higher, and the wall of heaven and earth is higher. And if you want to liberate God, you must go over an even higher wall. Eve n though God is at the top, He cannot direct things. He is imprisoned over the re at the bottom of the mountain. He is hemmed in and imprisoned by Satan, and He is living the life of someone in prison. Having gone to such a place, would Reverend Moon have been happy?
You have no idea how much God enjoyed it when I me t Him and clung to Him. I went around stirring things up, and I found out everything. A theory must be organized to show the fact that the history of the True Parents has been like this. It must be theoretically organized so that intelligent people will not be able to argue with it, and so that whoever runs into this teaching will be inspired and will not be able to help but follow. We must include the contents which can draw a line a decisive, final boundary line – and for the first time begin on earth. It is a way which is 180 degrees opposite. It says that we should deny e very individual and that we should deny every family, deny all the nations and deny the world. Then we must go beyond the history of denial from the individual level up to the levels of the world and cosmos an d even the ideal of God, who created everything. In that case, is Reverend Moon going to be opposed or not? (Yes.) Yes. Did the owners of the earth oppose Reverend Moon or welcome him? (They opposed him.)
Now that you have come close, I believe that you will want to see this Reverend Moon again whom you have seen today. I do not know whether I am ugly or handsome, but since you heard that there is a fellow who is called the True Father, which is a good name, and that it seems he is outstanding and great, you probably wanted to see him up close some time. (Yes.) Well, take a good look. (Laughter and applause.)
THE NEED FOR TRUE PARENTS
This talk today has been going on now for about an hour and forty minutes. But have you begun to think that the True Parents are absolutely necessary, or are you thinking, “Who needs something like the True Parents?” Has your thinking changed? (Yes.) If it became different after about an hour and a half; then how different would it be come after listening for ten or fifteen hours? Because of that, some people say that if you meet Reverend Moon and your eyes meet his, your thinking turns around and you become brain washed. So they say, “Something terrible will happen if you me e t him. Don ‘t go. Don’t go.” The true lord is the True Father, but these people have become false lord s and have turned everything upside down and have put a veil in between, saying, “Don’t go. Don’t go. Don’t go.” They tell people not to go and it seems they will not, but the light of the sun is shining.
Kore a has opposed me for forty years. It was happy I was gone. But while the world has become brighter, the darkest place is now Kore a. In the Western societies it is like this: Whether people are Christian or of other faiths, the y all say, “If Jesus is not going to return on a cloud, if he is going to come as a person, the n Reverend Moon is surely the Messiah.” (Amen!) Look at it this way. Is the Messiah who is longed for in the Completed Testament Age, the Messiah who was longed for in the New Testament Age an d in the Old Testament Age? Since people can see the Messiah in the Completed Testament Age, do you only want to see him? Or do you want to know him and attend him? Then what’s next? Do you want to be separated from the Messiah or do you want to live with him? (Live with him.) Oh no; oh no. (Laughter.) Are you all great people, people who are qualified to relate to the Messiah? If you say you would like to live with him, it’s a big problem.
Then if the Messiah is called the True Parents, when people who have been living in sin come and ask to be saved, should they be beaten or must they be received as the prodigal son was? In the Bible there is the story of the prodigal son, isn’t there? Like the parable of the prodigal son, must all the people who come be adorned with the treasures which have been hidden in the house and even given a banquet? That is what was done for the prodigal son, but I don’t know how to do that. I intend to chastise them. Do you hope not to be chastised, but rather to be welcomed, or do you want to be chastised? (We hope to be welcomed.) You came to the right place. After casting someone aside, do the parents wonder if he is alive or not and go looking for him or not? (They look for him.) They go and look for him. If they cast him out, they wonder whether he might go wrong, and when they find him, if he still says to his parents, “I love you, Mother and Father; if you kick me out like this, how can I live?”, when he weeps, his parents will go to him, embrace him and bring him back and will want to hold a banquet for him. You should know that there are parents like this. You may have thought that kicking someone out was terribly impolite, but now that you hear the explanation, you are grateful.
Reverend Moon has to win the hearts of all women, beginning with the grandmothers. The grandfathers, fathers, husbands and brothers may want to protest when Reverend Moon wins the admiration and respect of their mothers, wifes, daughters and sisters. Nonetheless, all women like Reverend Moon; there are none who do not. The women throughout history have longed for someone like him in their dreams in their lives in the past, present and future. Why? The words True Parents also mean true king, true grandfather, true father, true husband and true elder brother. Is this true or not? (It is true.)
THE HISTORY OF SUFFERING
In the Garden of Eden, at the time of the fall, one day through a mistake of love, Eve lost everything. You need to know this kind of thing. You need to know how frightening a thing the man-woman relationship is. Engaging in a momentary relationship turned the cosmos upside down. God, the Lord with the power to create the universe, has been grieving for countless generations until now and is still held by His grief. In the Old Testament Age and the New Testament Age, how much blood was shed? The things of creation shed blood; the sons and daughters shed blood; and even the parents shed blood. Throughout history everything was smeared with blood. Why is that? Because of false love; false love.
Ladies! Because the lord who is coming comes as Adam, you are younger sisters. He is reclaiming the history of suffering which has torn apart his younger sister. Having discovered that, what should be done? Eve in the Garden of Eden could not become a true younger sister, so she must become a true younger sister now. Then as she grows up, she must become a true wife. She could not become the true wife. She could not become the true mother or true grandmother. Since they are trying to come into this position, in order to return to the position of the younger sister, as a complete child all the women are following Reverend Moon. This is not from the position of leading the man around as they wish. Because there is no way to live unless they go the way of a woman who can follow with complete obedience, these women must respect and follow Reverend Moon. Can you understand this? Then what is to be done? The false younger sister must become a younger sister who can receive God’s love. She must become a wife who can become one with the love of God. That kind of wife must be raised up. Next a tradition must be made which allows her to become a true mother.
How much have I been criticized because of women? And how much have I been criticized because of the group wed-ding ceremonies? All their sons and daughters, the people the parents loved most, married without consulting with their parents. I was criticized because I took their children and married them without consulting the parents. That is a situation to be criticized. The satanic world is bound to criticize it. That criticism is not a bad thing. However, seen from heaven’s side, there was not any condition to accuse me by. Even Satan himself could not find a condition. We carried out that work from a position of righteousness. Satan could not accuse it, and God welcomed it. Then what happens to the people who opposed it? All the people who opposed this world which could not be accused were caught by the conditions of the accuser. Later all of them will have to fall to their knees. In that way, if all the women who come to Reverend Moon’s side are trained-if we say there are 5 billion people and all 2.5 billion women are brought before Reverend Moon and educated-then the 2.5 billion men will be saved also. It is the opposite course. Eve brought about the fall and went to hell, but centered on the love of the True Parents, her historical mistake must be brought in the opposite direction. That is why the age of women is coming. As for Korea, if women had come out and made a political party and put an ad in the newspapers saying, “Banish the politicians! Those sons of the thief, the successors of the Archangel!”, then a woman would have become president. It would be good if I instigated it, but I am not a politician. I am busy going my way. Women know all their husband’s secrets. The blessed couples in Korea number more than 6,500,000. Eventually, all will be blessed. Now there are no more people to be blessed. In the future, if all the women unite, the ruling and the opposition parties will dis-appear. Let’s wait and see whether they disappear or not.
THE POWER OF FATHER’S WORDS
What I am saying today is what I said when the Unification Church started; it is what I said when there were only three billion people on earth; it is what I said in the 1960’s. Do you understand? (Yes.) I spoke about those things in detail. I said things which at that time could not even be dreamed. I said those things at the point where it was being determined whether I would live or die. This people should know the fact that I said these things at the crossroads of life and death in order to leave behind at least the words in case I died. Because the words exist, even if I die these words have the power to restore the world and more. How miserable will the resentment and sorrow be of this people if they could not attend such a person? It cannot be compared to the situation of the people of Israel. Reverend Moon is the parent coming in order to establish the Kingdom of God of complete world peace. If they sought to kill and throw out such a parent, by what can that sin be indemnified? For this reason, Reverend Moon did not appear in public in Korea until the responsibility was fulfilled. Elder Nah and Elder Pak were making a fuss, but that was not a problem. I did not appear in public because there were so many enemies. So I went to America and accomplished my responsibility centered on the word. Now the whole world is hemming in Korea.
So the Eves of three generations killed the first Adam and they killed the second Adam. Because of that, the Israelites became wanderers throughout the world, and how much of their blood has been shed? Because they grasped the resentment of the people, the people of the world have trampled them with horses and shot them with guns, and as a result of the gathering of political and economic winds, six million were slaughtered as they filled up the quantity of that sin. They are a people to be pitied. I am seeking to liberate them, but that people opposes me. Centered on their successor, the realm of the second Israel, God needed a world stage, and in order to prepare a landing place, for two thousand years the blood of martyrs has flowed. Right after World War II, which prepared a world-level territory, they should have become one with Reverend Moon, but in spite of that they did not.
Why was Japan one of the Axis nations in the second world war? England, America and France were the Allied nations. Those Allied nations were the archangel nations. The word axis means center. The satanic world has the center. Then centered on World War II, and centering on the Allied nations and the Axis nations, due to the victory of the Christian cultural realm, the victory was won.
Look at it this way. England is an Eve nation. It is an island. The thing which England gave birth to is America, which is the Abel nation. France fought with both England and with America. They were enemy nations. These three became one and thus unified heaven and earth. Since the beginning of history, the world had only been unified this one time, centered on the Christian cultural realm. If Reverend Moon had appeared on that foundation, by the time he reached the age of 40, heaven and earth would have been unified. Korea would have become the leading nation of the world. However, because of the opposition of the Korean Christians, Kim Il Sung appeared as the lord of the second advent on the satanic side. He occupied Reverend Moon’s hometown in the north, and the south was pushed back. In recovering that foundation, forty years have passed. Kim 11 Sung has gone, and communism has fallen. America is going to fall. If we talk about these things, there is no end to it.
The thing which women must understand is that they killed their first husband; and next they killed their second husband; and the Lord of the Second Advent who is coming is their husband whom they have also killed. They exiled him. They banished him to the wilderness. After the liberation, our Korean people shouted mansei, but I could not shout mansei even once. Centering on the celebration of victorious results, the Unification Church shouts mansei, but I am a man who could not shout mansei. Why? Because I know how things will be in the future. Because I know that communism can dance wildly. If you come to understand the principle of all these things, you know everything.
Therefore, Eve, the women, killed the third Messiah also, Reverend Moon. Christianity, as the bride on the world domain, exiled Reverend Moon. For this reason, through a course of 40 years in the wilderness, a second landing place was restored. This time now is representing the completion of the foundation of blessed couples worldwide 40 years ago, during the seven years from 1945 to 1952. Do you understand? Now that time will come with the completion of the 360 million couples.
WORLD INFLUENCE
Our motto for this year is, “To be proud of and to love True God absolutely is to complete the 360 million couples blessing and eradicate the blood lineage of the satanic world.” You must know that we have not been able to resolve the history of sorrow by cleansing the defiling of the bride of God and by meeting the bride and attending her. America should not brag about its domination of the world. After bragging, one is destroyed. An America which advocates being one nation under God will be destroyed. America must advocate one world under God. America must not forget the world of peace, and from the position of going beyond the nation, Korea must stand in the position of the elder brother representing the parents’ heart and assist your younger brother who is being ruined. You must work yourselves to the bone for him. I was opposed for saying such things and even went to prison, but these days they know they need my help.
Think about the festival held in November in Washington DC, which is the capital of the world. In its midst, with the heads of the American government and of the CIA and FBI focusing their attention, in that very place we held the International Blessing Ceremony.
If anyone wants to have a contest of strength I will join the contest. If you want to have a contest of ideologies, I will join the contest. There is no contest for me in the area of ideology. The decision has already been made in the world. Don’t you think that numerous scholars and numerous religious people have sought out Reverend Moon to destroy him? They all left without being able to answer even three words. As a Korean person who is of that level, is Reverend Moon worth bragging about or not? [Yes!] After you go back to the countryside, I will look at the list of people who came today. If I visit you there, you should be willing to treat me to lunch or dinner. Will you do that or not? Over there on the chairs some holy people are sitting. Will you do that or not? If I come to visit you will you at least buy me lunch or dinner, or buy a chicken? You should know that you must not treat me less than you would the husband of your granddaughter, or your son-in-law or daughter-in-law or your children’s parents-in-law. You should know at least that before you go. Then you will not be ruined and your family will not be ruined. You will receive blessings.
During World War II, many people who participated in the war were called brave men. Even if someone received a written command and was just about to get on the train to report for duty, but could not and had to go away, can he also be considered a brave man who participated in the war? I will give out all the treasures I have collected throughout my life and by my hard work.
THE PROCLAMATION OF THE COMPLETED TESTAMENT AGE
Today I am saying these things centered on this birthday, which is my 78th birthday. The Seven Eight’s holy day is the day when the realm of the sabbath where God may rest on this earth was proclaimed. It is the day that the day of rest of the parents of heaven and earth was proclaimed. So it is related to this 78th birthday. And if the world Blessing of 360 million couples is accomplished, that will be the end of Satan’s lineage. If the end comes and is overthrown, then everything will tumble down. People who have attended become one centered on the word. Because we are entering the realm where heaven can support us and cooperate with us, we are doing this today. I am sorry you had to make a lot of effort to get here today. Thank you for coming. (Applause.)
Women must gather the devotion of the three ages. What that means is, because there are not three ages at once, from the grandmother through the mother, three generations must become one and repent for the sin of having killed the original husband. I have liberated all the ages by establishing movements for the liberation of women. Through this, by knowing Reverend Moon women have come to know a true elder brother, and a true husband. And owing to being able to know a true ancestor, the original human ancestor, even though millions of years pass, as long as the heart of love does not change, that tradition will create a lasting world culture. It will be the bridge to the world of peace and unification, the single cultural realm of Adam. Amen. (Amen.)

Today on this birthday here at this headquarters I have proclaimed the Completed Testament Age. The age is changing. It has turned around 180 degrees. In the Old Testament Age, marriage could not be perfected. In the New Testament Age what was promised failed. Now as regards the Completed Testament Age, the marriage ideal is being completed. In the time of Adam, the first family was turned upside down, but today the 360 Million Couples Blessing is the ultimate Blessing, which will solve the reversal which occurred in Adam’s family. The age is coming when parents will be able to bless their own children centered on the original parents, the True Parents’ original love, original life and original lineage. We are going beyond the age of the first Adam, the age of the second Adam, and the age of the third Adam into the age of the fourth Adam. Do you understand? Until the age of the third Adam, indemnity was required. When the 360 Mil-lion Couples Blessing has been completed, we will enter the age of the realm of the fourth Adam, which does not require indemnity. Therefore, because we enter the age in which in Eden the parents can bless in place of God, all of the people centered on their relatives who have been blessed will form a direct road to the Kingdom of God.
The ages of the realms of the first and second Adams required indemnity. Requiring indemnity means that Satan still remains. There are still traces remaining of Satan having polluted the blood lineage. By eradicating the blood lineage of the satanic world the traces completely disappear. From the liberated position of being able to bless in the Garden of Eden, all people, all the families of humankind are blessed all at once on one level. Do you understand? Adam was not able to establish the one family, but because of entering the age when the families of all the people of the whole world can be blessed, from the point of the perfection of Adam’s family, centering on one’s own blood lineage, we are going into the age of liberation where we can multiply directly the true love, true life, and true lineage which can enter the Kingdom of God. This age is to be called the age of the liberation of the realm of the fourth Adam. Amen. (Amen)
The record of these enormous contents is now contained in over 300 volumes. This same kind of content was being talked about fifty years ago, and it was all correct. It has not been stolen from somewhere. Even all the words spoken extemporaneously are coming true. This is because I am a specialist. Do you know that? (Yes.) In that way, when the individual peak had been gone over, it was proclaimed. Satan cannot enter the place where the individual is victorious. Proclaiming the realm of the victory of the family, we pushed Satan out. Then we made the proclamation of the tribal realm of victory and the proclamation of the ream of the victory of the people. That day is the Seven Eights holy day, which correlates with my 78th birthday. To explain this would take a long time, because all those things occurred along the way which was planned and which adds up and which has a conclusion with no contradiction. How difficult would it be to win over Satan who has struggled with God and imprisoned Him? Satan is such a king of wisdom-the serpent. But he is melted by me. Yes, the respected people who have come here may have opposed me. But I declare the forgiveness of all those who opposed me if they have come here today. (Amen.)
We have arrived at the age which can be so good; then what is the first problem? It is how we can establish the hegemony which can lead the world into the Kingdom of God. The motto mentioned earlier is one which we cannot forget even if we want to. It will not do for us not to hold onto that motto. What I am referring to in that content is the Blessing. You should know that “Blessing and Eternal Life” refers to “Blessed Families and Eternal Life.” It is very interesting to explain these things. History is resolved through them. Through this one text, history can be resolved. Will you who have come here today welcome me if I visit your county or district? (Yes.) It is not a bad sounding response. Then you are good people. The nation will live. Blessing and Eternal Life. If we say “Blessing” we mean the International Holy Wedding Ceremony of the Unification Church. Do you understand?
THE MEANING OF THE LAST DAYS
The people of the world are living in the Last Days. As I said before, because of what was sown by a youth in the Garden of Eden, the family was turned upside down. Just as God could not intervene directly in the Garden of Eden at the time of the fall, now in the Last Days, the time of harvest-no political, economic, cultural, educational or religious organization is able to handle the worldwide problems of youth. They have all given up. It is only the True Parents who can cope with this. Do you understand?
We are living in the Last Days. Why are the families of the world breaking up now? Fathers and mothers and children are becoming enemies. Why? Because they do not have true love. Isn’t that right? The main reason for this is that they do not understand about eternal life. Do you know about eternal life? Who thinks that he will have an eternal life? The understanding is not enough even within Christianity. Because they do not know about eternal life, they do not really know whether there is a spiritual world or not. That is true. I am talking about this from that position. The content of this message is the final warning to you. If someone comes to know for certain that he has eternal life, he does not sin even if other people tell him to do so. Even if someone tells him to live for himself, he does not. If you do not know this, you can never enter the Kingdom of God-whether you believe in Christianity or any other religion.
The place where the True Parents were born becomes the homeland of humankind. It becomes the starting point of the Kingdom of God on earth and in heaven. We will enter the age of the absolute authority of God. There we cannot be destroyed, and a golden age will develop. May Korea become a nation proud of the victorious realm of all the nations by the national family becoming one with the True Parents through the Hoon Dok Hae. Amen. Korea will not be destroyed. Do not worry.
The great persecution which Reverend Moon who is standing here went through during his life was all guided by God. Do you understand that? Therefore, the world’s political, economic and cultural leaders are focusing on Reverend Moon and paying attention to him. Korea is the homeland of faith and is to be the motherland of the unified world. This position which is being focused upon must not be taken away. Do you understand? (Yes.) Do you want it to be taken away or do you want to hold onto it? (We will hold onto it.) The people who say you will hold onto it, raise both hands and try to welcome it. (Yes.)
