Father’s Midnight Prayer, on January 1, 1994
FATHER, we have just concluded the year 1993, and greeted the new year 1994 You enabled us to spend the year now past as one that will long be commemorated ill history as the first year in which we declared the True Parents and the Completed Testament Age. We sincerely thank You that over the years the Parents traveled numerous paths of suffering in order to prepare the way for that historic year in which the dominion of victory was established on this earth for the first time.
“Safe Settlement of the True Parents and the Completed Testament Age” will be set as the motto for this year and confirmed on the standard of the family. I clearly declare that the mission of the chosen throngs of the Unification Church who are without shame before their calling still remains to be fulfilled. Each individual capable of setting out on the journey to the new ideal world, the family of each such individual, and each country centered on these families must be sufficiently prepared so as to be embraced in the bosom of heaven. They must usher in the era in which heaven can settle on the earth that has been the object of its cherished desire. I ask that heaven and earth work in co-operation with us based on this standard.
After the fall, divisions of mind and body led to divisions of families, nations, the world and the cosmos. In the spirit world, there was conflict between heaven and hell centering on the battles between mind and body on earth. We know that this historical path of resentment in the human world following the fall remains to be restored through indemnity based on the earthly foundation of the True Parents and the Completed Testament Age.
Your salvific providential will, by which You sent to this earth the Messiah whose purpose it is to make a complete separation from all of this, indemnify all of this and establish the dominion of victory, is that the name of the True Parents must be crystallized in con-junction with the historic age in which those things that Jesus could not consummate when he came to this earth two thousand years ago, and so were prolonged through the New Testament Age until two thousand years later, can now be fulfilled on the level of the individual, family, clan, nation, state and unified world. We know that after the Second World War, the Christian cultural sphere centering on Britain, the United States and France, having been prepared as the realm of the bride, was not mission to receive the coming groom. Because of this, there remained an abhorrent history in which God and the Messiah, who is the True Parent, could come to this earth and be met only by the wilderness age.
Because they could not attend the True Father, we lost in one moment the foundation of all Your hard work for the sake of bringing about the age in which the four-thousand-year historical course of indemnity filled with suffering could be consummated and heaven and earth could move forward into one unified world of peace. There remained, then, a forty-year period filled with suffering during which the four thousand years of history had to be re-indemnified. Whereas this will could have been accomplished between 1945 and 1952, it was prolonged for forty years until, centering on 1992, a foundation of victory was established centering on Mother so that she could represent the realm of Eve. We thank You that the liberation of women could be declared in all countries, that all countries could be connected to each other in a relationship of heart, and that it was possible to transcend the highest positions centering on nations and states so that we could receive this Completed Testament Age and the age of True Parents in accordance with Your will.
In the name of the True Parents and the Completed Testament Age, we have greeted the Age of Perfect Consummation, which has absolutely no relationship with Satan. We have declared this world to be one that is totally separate from the satanic world, and with this declaration we enter a time in which the character of the age is to be profoundly transformed into one that is endowed with the whole, the entirety, the authority and the power of heaven and into one over which You can exercise dominion. Although women of the spirit world could not assist in the Second Coming, the True Parents’ declaration of the liberation of women made it possible that a foundation could be established on earth such that Mother could establish herself in-dependently. Based on this, we are in the historical course now of recovering the United States and the world that was lost, of regaining and establishing the Cain and Abel nations that represent the Adam nation, and of re-indemnifiying that which was lost by Britain, the United States and France in their positions representing the Cain realm by establishing the United States in unity with Japan centering on Germany, and establishing Japan, Germany and Italy.
Truly, this age today is the age in which the bride can reach perfection before the unified standard centering on Britain, the United States and France in order that we may attend the True Parents. Japan, Germany and Italy-acting in the place of Britain, the United States and France-should cooperate with each other centering on repeating the year 1945 within the context of historical indemnity and the seven-year course leading up to 1952, taking us up to the Twenty-first Century. Now we have come to the age in which these countries, by preparing and establishing a unified country with Korea, can stand on a new seven-year course to make visible the one method, the one Kingdom of Heaven on earth and in heaven, that can be termed a world of peace in the context of world history.
We must nurture the age of perfection
Father, the time has come when you can mobilize all the people of the world, with the spirit world and physical world centering on the standard of Cain and Abel-the spirit world on the standard of Cain and all second generation born on earth on the standard of Abel-to substitute in attending the realm of the age of perfection that takes the place of Adam and place on the whole world the responsibility to nurture this age of perfection so that its visage may reemerge.
Give Your command so that all spirit people who have performed actions of goodness can participate in the returning resurrection and wipe away the evil realm of Satan and of the fallen Adam from the face of this earth. We pray that 1994 will be a year of victory, a year for which Heaven can have pride, and a year in which we move forward toward peace and unification. Give Your blessing to this age so that those who perform Your will can move forward with the shield of victory, and those who deceive heaven will receive judgment in the place of evil and be removed.
With the pronouncement of the True Parents and the Completed Testament Age, the time has come on this earth when heaven and earth must become one and stand on the horizontal standard so that they may manifest all that is required in an age when all families, tribes, nations and the world may, as a unified whole, perfect the vertical standard. For this reason, we earnestly beseech You to unite all good spirits, good ancestors and their descendants on earth centering on the vertical spirit world and God. Permit them to constitute a unified heavenly and physical world together with the True Parents and centered on the Cain-Abel foundation. We ask You that in this way the Kingdom of Heaven on earth and the Kingdom of Heaven in the spirit world will be completed centering on true love, and that, together with the liberation of all people, You will provide an age of liberation in which all people can be unified in one kinship in the Father’s bosom and the bosom of True Parents.
Because we have now entered the age of settlement with the True Parents and the Completed Testament Age, the minds and bodies of individuals must become one. In families, husbands and wives must become one. We sincerely hope and desire that, on the foundation formed by the unity of husbands and wives and centering on the love of heaven and humanity, the name of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth and the unified Kingdom of Heaven in the spirit world can be connected from the earth, connecting to the providence of liberation which grafts the people of the world to a liberating grace in order to bring about their liberation. The congregation of unification that is spread around the world are the chosen ones within Your chosen multitude. The blessed families among them are messianic entities who inherit the flesh and blood of the True Parents and stand as representatives of their countries. Because they are able to bear the name of the True Parents, we sincerely ask, Father, that You allow them to act with all the authority and the shield of victory that You have brought about on earth through the True Parents. In every place, every country and every situation in which they find themselves, permit that everything will make uninterrupted progress day after day and month after month.
May we overcome self-concepts
Forty national representatives [from the nations Mother toured] and three hundred Japanese women leaders, representing the Adam nation, the Eve nation, the Cain and Abel nations, forty nations and one hundred sixty nations, are gathered here.
Although there are various kinds of self-conception, we pray that we will overcome. Thus centering on True Parents and God’s love we can be united to one lineage. Father, we pray with all of our hearts that we will take the responsibility and harmonize to the will of God. Heavenly Father, please bless all mankind who are living in the year of 1994. Especially bless those generations who were born after World War II. As heaven embraces the second generation who are standing on God’s side, overcoming all nations’ matters and fully accomplishing everything, Heavenly Father, please allow us the privilege of marching forward for the freedom and peace of heaven and earth.
May Your blessing be on everyone as we begin the new year of 1994. We ask Your protection and blessing upon us as we progress beyond the seven-year course to the age of world unification and peace. We ask that You help us to accomplish all these things for which we have prayed in these first moments of the year. May there be glory in heaven and joy on earth, and may heaven and earth be united as one so that together we may march forward into the world of peace.
