Father’s speech to the overseas missionaries on October 26, 1992, In Kodiak, Alaska
THE title of Father’s speech today, the thirty-third Children’s Day, is “The Liberation of the Spiritual World.” The connection between the spiritual world and the physical world has been established. The spiritual and physical worlds and all countries should unite into one.
On such a foundation today, Mother will give the seventh speech in America for the restoration of the worldwide family level moral and ethical revival. Kodiak is the center of both east and west, and north and south. Celebrating Children’s Day here in Kodiak is very significant.
The content of Father’s speech today is, first, the unification of the spiritual world and the physical world; second, the unification of parents; and, third, the unification of children centering on Jesus. This means heaven and earth are united into one.
This thirty-third Children’s Day represents Jesus’ thirty-three years and his victorious family-nation base. Father pro-claims that the entire earth is united into one, a new ideal nation-world. Through Father’s declaration, the confusion of the family and the world will be cleared up. They will be arranged clearly on the heavenly side. Winter has passed and a new spring atmosphere has arrived, bringing new buds and new sprouts.
Mother’s tour
Mother spoke first in Korea, Japan and America and restored the elder sonships, so the Eu-ropean countries will automatically follow.
After the Second World War, the Eve country England, the Abel country America, and the Cain country France were to have established a heavenly victorious position, but they could not accomplish it. Those three countries were supposed to connect with Father, but did not. So a new Eve nation, Japan, was chosen with America as the Abel nation and Germany as the Cain nation. Other countries cannot be chosen in their place.
Mother will visit and unite the four countries-France, England, Italy and Germany-into one. Through these representative countries, all countries will be included conditionally. For forty years Father has always prayed for the seven providential countries: Korea, Japan, America, Germany, England, France, and Italy. Among those seven countries, Korea, Japan and America represent heaven. The other four countries represent the earth. If Korea, Japan and America-Adam, Eve, and the archangel-unite together, the other countries will follow and everything will be accomplished.
Missionaries and one language
Today is a glorious day in heaven and on earth, because missionaries from all over the world are meeting here, centering on True Parents. Father declared that all levels are following the heavenly side. With Father’s declaration of the liberation of the individual and the family levels, the liberation of the nation now develops. “Nation” means the unification of North and South Korea first then east and west unification will follow. After that, the whole world will become liberated, and, eventually, the cosmos will be one. All types of fallen behavior in the family will be indemnified worldwide, and then we will have a new start. We need to pray in this manner.
With Father’s declaration today, the condition has been made through which all levels of the conditions centering on True Parents have been accomplished. All kinds of conditions have been indemnified through this declaration.
In number five of our pledge are the words “one sovereignty … one language.” We need to have one language. As you know, many national leaders are coming to the Sung Hwa University to learn Korean. All missionaries should speak Korean. You need to make a determination to practice Korean, to show an example to your members. In the pledge, we solemnly pledge to God that we will make one sovereignty, one people, one nation, and eventually one language. We swear it, so we must do it. If we pledge but do not accomplish this purpose on earth, then we cannot go to the heavenly prepared world.
These four conditions are the most important: sovereignty, people, land and language. Why is language fourth? Because if there is no language, True Parents’ heart cannot be communicated to us. Even among brothers and sisters we cannot communicate with each other. The world was made like this by Sa-tan. We must overcome it. Father will give you three more years to learn Korean. If we make one language, Korean, then the whole worldwide providence will have one solemn direction.
Now we have many international marriages. Your children should also have international marriages. Will you pass on to your children the lack of understanding of True Parents’ heart which results from not speaking Korean? We must learn Kore-an. Whether or not you study Korean will determine if you are in the mainstream of the will.
Heavenly Royal Family
Originally, we were royal people, and there was a king. Yesterday Father mentioned very clearly that we restore the elder sonship first; second, parentship; and, third, kingship. Eventually everyone will come back to a royal family. Only royal families can go to the heavenly kingdom. Everywhere in the world we must prepare people to go to the heavenly kingdom.
We need to be real royal families, attending the real king and queen-which is True Parents. Do you understand what the royal family is? Please remember we are restoring elder sonship, then parents, then kingship and, finally, restoring the royal family.
Because of Adam’s problems, True Parents had to make indemnity conditions. Father made many conditions already, centering on True Parents’ family. Now is the time when we can do these things without any satanic obstacle.
Establishing an ideal family means accomplishing the purpose of creation-which means there is no worry or anxiety for Heavenly Father. As a result of the fall, we have to make some indemnity conditions to receive the Messiah. Centering on the Messiah, this world will become a peaceful, heavenly world.
Unification of Spiritual and physical worlds
Centering on True Parents, God wants to connect with the world. God’s original ideal must come down to Satan’s do-main. This is very difficult for God. Religious leaders’ purpose is to create the original base for Eve’s foundation and the archangel’s foundation. Upon that foundation, Father comes. Through the spiritual foundation established God comes down and the physical world comes up, combining spiritually. The spiritual world and physical world can be connected centering on True Parents. Between the spiritual world and the physical world is Satan.
To make a condition to restore the whole world, God and True Parents have gone a difficult indemnity course. All of the complicated situations are now overcome.
October is the month when everything should be accomplished. We receive True Parents’ heart and then we follow I Mother, especially on the European tour. If we finish, then everything will be okay. In the outside world it will be more and more complicated, so we need to unite more closely with each other. We should unite into one so no one can divide us.
ty-one people representing seventy-two countries. Centering on Jesus’ seventy-two disciples, we need to go to one hundred and twenty big cities and offer these cities to God. This is our job. It is not an accident that Mother is speaking at this time and that we here represent seventy-two countries; it is very providential.
Father declared the unification of the heavenly world and the earthly world today. Now the secular humanistic society and the satanic world will decline quickly. We should be the best patriots. For example, when a German missionary goes to Cameroon, he is a Cameroonian, not a German. We must have that attitude. In the satanic system the country of origin controls the person, but on the heavenly side, the best German becomes a Cameroonian. We should set a good example and not just dominate people. Until now, in the outside world, the missionary’s home country-i.e., Germany-has controlled the missionary, but from now on it will not be so. The missionary is Cameroonian in the kingship and elder sonship position.
New educational system
We need a new educational system combining spiritual education and physical education centering on True Parents. The instructor for spiritual education should be in communication with the spiritual world. There are many spiritualists who should be publicly recognized, centering on True Parents’ idea. From one hundred and twenty spiritualists, we choose seventy, then twelve, and then one. Centering on that main spiritualist, each level unites until the whole country is united spiritually. In this manner all people will be very near the spiritual world.
If there is one person in a village who is doing something bad, the spiritualist prophet will see that. The spiritual leader can call the physical society leader and share his information; the person will be guided in the proper manner. So in the future, we will not need a police system. We will follow the heavenly way with everything centering on spiritual insight.
Live for the sake of others
Everything will change completely if we center on true love and live for the sake of others. Love flows down to create a balance, just as high atmospheric pressure goes toward the low pressure area and water flows downhill. If one village is very rich and another is very poor, then heartistically wealth is already designed to flow down to make a balance. It is the same in the spiritual world.
Why should we live our lives for the sake of others? Actually, it is for one’s own happiness. To live for others is to survive. It is like breathing. If ‘ you continually exhale, can you survive? You must inhale. If you exhale fully, then inhalation is automatic. If you continue to inhale, you must also continue to exhale.
If your family or your tribe is very rich, it must share those riches with other people. What about knowledge? America has a lot of specialized knowledge. They never let this knowledge go to other countries. They want to hide it. Will they share this knowledge with other countries or will they enjoy it by themselves? America must teach this knowledge to poor, underdeveloped countries, otherwise it is like only inhaling, which leads to death. Through such a course will come about one world.
Return to the heavenly place
The place we should go and change completely is the place which the whole world dislikes the most. All of Satan’s side must change eventually and come to True Parents. Satan dislikes the heavenly place most. True Parents, centering on God, must return all historical people to the original heavenly place.
The whole world dislikes the Unification Church lifestyle. If Father came here and enjoyed life, no one would persecute him. There would have been no Danbury providence, no persecution. Through Danbury and the persecution, Father has already turned this country toward the heavenly way. We need to educate people to return to the heavenly side. The miserable, secular world is going in a different direction. We should go down to the bottom of hell and take people up to the heavenly side. That is our mission. We cannot just rest, eat good food and sleep; that is what a thief does.
For example, some Koreans do not like the suffering of Korean life, so they want to go to other countries as a missionary. Father is watching whether they want to increase themselves. That is the attitude of a thief or a parasite. Only good members need to go to Africa as missionaries to save Africa, because Africa is very difficult.
Establishing kingship
Korea and Japan are very good in everything; Americans are far behind. Originally, Americans had responsibility as the archangel country. Originally, the Adam country Korea and the Eve country Japan needed to go back to hometown and the archangel country America needed to go to Europe. The archangel position people need to restore this world, so Father is thinking to exchange American leaders with the missionaries. If you do not fulfill your responsibility, you cannot return to your country.
When you return, you must have established kingship of the mission country. The people of that country must recognize you in that position. When diplomats go to another country, they cannot steal anything from that country. From that viewpoint, Father raised you and looked after you for seventeen years. We need this type of person. “Missionary” means we have that kingship loyalty. In the beginning we had that attitude, centering on the German, American and Japanese missionaries in the mission countries. Father could not teach this at that time, because there was no foundation. Now Father has the foundation through fighting with Satan many times.
We know what the heavenly kingdom will be like in the future, centering on the four great heartistic and spiritual levels. The vertical children kingship, parent kingship and grandparent kingship is expressed on the horizontal level, so the whole world can practice this tradition. A great deal of hard work goes into making such a worldwide tradition. Mother is doing this. If we have done it, we will be respected in this world and in the spiritual world. Do you respect True Parents? Not only do you respect them, but each one of you must become like True Parents; then we become a branch of Father’s trunk.
Children’s Day is a very important day. Today is October 1 in the lunar calendar. This is the tenth month in both the lunar and solar calendars. Usually Children’s Day is in November, but this time it is in the same month as the lunar calendar.
From 1945 to 1985 is forty years. Father must solve everything. Centering on October 1 in the lunar calendar, Father made this declaration. Now the earth is liberated and heaven is liberated. Wherever you go, there is no persecution. You do not need to go to the place where there is persecution. You need to go back home after this meeting and have a heavenly discussion with your national leader.
Younger follows elder
The younger must follow the elder. The blessed family is very important. Many foreign leaders come to Korea and come directly to the individuals from the 36 Couple Blessing. Sometimes they want to be over these couples. They do not understand the significance of the couples from the 36 Couple Blessing. For example, a representative of the 6000 Couple Blessing wants to be in the same position as the Korean leader who participated in the 36 Couple Blessing. From now on we absolutely cannot do that. Always center on the order of the blessed couples. No matter what their education is, elder is el-der; parent is parent. How can you negate your parents’ low education? Parents are still parents. This formula is eternal.
This morning in Los Angeles they asked if Father’s speech could be short, because they are preparing for Mother’s speech today. But we cannot ask that. Father decides everything; Mother knows this. Some individuals who are following Mother want to control Father. This is completely wrong. We must always think centering on Father. The American wives are following Mother. If they have this wrong attitude, they will go to hell. Please follow Father’s idea, then everything will be okay.
Speak boldly
From now on any national or political leader who does not want to follow True Parents’ idea will just decline. You must speak to your nation’s leader. You must let them know very clearly that True Parents are in this world. We must say what True Parents are and what the Messiah is-whether or not they want to hear it. When you understand what the Savior is, you can save your country.
In the secular world there are many complicated problems. They need True Parents. Two points are important: the family needs True Parents; the nation needs a Savior. Previously we have just contacted the local level. Now we need to make high level national contacts.
Father has taught us about the spiritual world. We cannot complain that Father did not explain this. God knows, Satan knows, True Parents know, and we know. Share this knowledge with others. To save the family, there is True Parents. To save this world, there is a Savior. We must say this to all the people. If you cannot say everything, make a document. Let them understand that if the family follows Rev. Moon, then it will be saved; if the country follows Rev. Moon, the country will be saved. You cannot complain, “I did not know this, so I did not do it.” Even without Father, you can teach this.
Save the world
There are no real teachers in this world; only we can teach everything clearly. After we understand it, we have the responsibility to work at the cost of our life. Such people can actually survive.
If Father escaped from every difficult situation to save his own life, he would already be dead. The satanic world would have seen to that. Instead, Father just gave and gave his life as the Messiah, so he survived. Even in jail, at the cost of his life, Father went the heavenly course. If any missionary, in the course of practicing kingship in his country, starved himself to death, he would eventually turn his country around. If the king worked to save all the starving people, then the whole world would follow him. Do we have such a person now? Father is doing this. In the future people will be like that. When Father uses a tissue, he is thinking how he can save the whole world, even economically. Now we know this principle, so we need to practice it.
There are five billion people in the world. Every year twenty million people starve to death. All the starving people could be saved in one year if everyone fasted one and a half days. Can we do that? If this world unites into one, we can do it. What will happen when rich people who eat well go to the spiritual world? Everyone there will accuse that person. We should think about that.
Father is always thinking about how to save the world. On a stormy day, a parent would be willing to die on the ocean for the sake of his children. Such a person can be saved, even if he dies and goes to the spiritual world.
Can Father go to hell or heaven? Father never thought he would go to heaven. He was just going this way. Have we done our mission or not?
Are True Parents completely liberated? When you go back home, what will you do? You attend True Parents, attend the nation, attend God and everything. Eventually, the country will attend you. When you go to your country, meet the prime minister. Pray and pray, then connecting with the country will be no problem.
When you attend Father, is it just you? Is it only your couple? It is everybody together. The tribe all together must attend True Parents. This is the principle of creation. Eventually the nation and world will attend True Parents. Father sent out missionaries. It means you go to the mission country, meet people and raise them up. “People” means “tribe.” Your tribe should be growing up. It means you have to be born again. How can these people go back to the original way? Is it easy or difficult? To give birth to the people of the world is very difficult. True Parents did that. We need to give birth to our tribe members. Is it easy or difficult?
Last summer there was a mass wedding by satellite. This has happened only in the Unification Church. If we have a satellite dish in just one place, the whole world can participate. This kind of scientific development is for us. Father is using the latest technology. For example, we have the best audio and video facilities in America. Father prepared everything. We have to complete our responsibility; that is the missionary hope. “Hope” means to have responsibility. It is very clear; there is no secret. Everybody knows, so we have no excuse. Unless you carry out your responsibility, you do not need to come here.
Father is now mobilizing women. From the Divine Principle viewpoint, the center of the family is not the man or children. It is only the woman. From now on, the parents’ family is the formula. Now the family will start in the spiritual world. This is the first time the ideal family has passed to the spiritual world. Until now, spirit beings could not have the original family. The center is woman; the nation is in Adam’s position. Centering on true love, we will automatically connect plus and minus.
America is now in a miserable situation; the world is in a miserable situation. God wants a peaceful world. You are in such an enjoyable position. Visit your contacts. Share the content of your heavenly faith with them. You have very little money, so they will take you out. For three years you can survive this way.
Twenty years ago communism had taken over most of the world. Kim Il Sung sent out a spy to assassinate Rev. Moon. America is no problem; Father has done everything.
