Cote d’ivoire: National Peace Day

The World Day of Peace of November 15, 2020, was marked by a ceremony organized and chaired by UPF Cote d’ivoire, Attécoubé chapter with participation of 200 people.
This event co-sponsored by the adviser and ambassador for peace, Mr. Koné N’Golo Tiasse, with the effective presence of the municipal council of the locality, the municipal police as well as other the ambassadors for peace, namely, the first magistrate of the municipality. Minister of Sports, Mr. Paulin Claude D.
The president of FFWPU Cote d’ivoire, Rev Beugré Richard honored this ceremony with his presence. Mr. Yao Bruce, Chief of Staff of the Minister of Sports and Mr. Diarrassouba Ibrahim, delegate of the National Youth Council of Attécoubé who is also the youngest peace ambassador of the said commune.
During the event, several some gifts were initially distributed to the nurses of the Attécoubé maternity hospital to support them in what they are doing.
A conference followed, which took place at the wedding hall located in the town hall with the participation of the population represented by religious and community leaders and youth leaders in order to educate them on the importance of advocating and practicing the values of peace.
Finally, we all prayed for a true and lasting peace in Côte d’Ivoire by the religious guides present during this ceremony. And Pastor Gbeli Zeze Noel from the Family Federation gave the closing prayer for peace in Côte d’Ivoire.
