Spain: HARP Winter Workshop

By Stefan Campillo Fette and the HARP Committee

Thank God and the True Parents for being present with us during this workshop. Also thanks to the Committee formed by Alejandro López, Josué Navarro, Rubén Cabero, Daniel Temprado and Dajanna Aronés, without them this would not have been possible.

The workshop began on December 27, 2019 and ended on January 3, 2020, with a total of 6 full days. We were a total of 25 participants plus the kitchen staff.

The motto of the workshop was “DNA Moonie”. In this workshop the Committee wanted to put emphasis on what the core of our beliefs means in several aspects. As always, we wanted to balance the speakers, both first generation and second generation gave the talks. Both in the talks and in various activities we wanted them to learn to connect with the TP step by step. I have always been struck by how Christians love Jesus madly, a man who lived 2000 years ago and has never seen. I sincerely think that we, as unificationists, should have that same passion for TP. But that is not easy, it requires work and effort. Young people have to learn that the relationship with God and the TP works like other relationships, you have to work on them to exist. Many talks and activities were focused to reflect on how to build this relationship and what it means to be a unificationist.

Also, as it is already traditional, we had a morning for brothers and sisters. Samuel and Takako Muruzábal came to give their testimony about their matching, blessing and family formation followed by a time to share between brothers and sisters separately. The participants greatly appreciated their testimony and advice.

The atmosphere of the workshop was very good, I honestly feel very proud of my brothers and sisters. These moments are unique because we live together as a family, we learn, we pray, we play, we hug, we cry, we laugh, we grow together. I hope that they take all these lessons learned and lived moments and take them into their daily lives to be an example, to take responsibility for themselves and to be the best version of themselves.

I feel very blessed to be the elder brother of the harpies and while in this position I will do my best for them. A hug for everyone.
