Austria: Lecture about Angels and Demons in Hometown
By Barbara Grabner, FFWPU Austria
After participating in the ancestor liberation in January, the work and qualities of angels came often to my mind. I decided to hold a lecture about this topic during a visit in my home village near Salzburg at Easter time. Living 400 km distant, it is not easy to prepare such an endeavor! But thanks to one friendly journalist it could be done; the event was announced in a regional newspaper which is distributed to every household. When I arrived one week before the scheduled event and started to distribute the invitation leaflets, many people said that they read about it the weekly newspaper. All persons whom I spoke to showed profound interest even if they could not come. Indeed, there was no lack of guests who flocked to the local Farming Museum on Thursday 25th April – altogether 38 participants.
Some of my regular guests brought guests themselves which is a great help since we have no church centre in Salzburg city and I depend on word-of-mouth recommendation. My lecture started with a lovely poem about the Guardian angel written by my work colleague. My power point presentation utilized various sources such as the basic teachings of the Divine Principle and Catholic theology and introduced books like “The Circle of Angels”. Naturally I explained the fornication initiated by Lucifer and dangers which pose fallen angels (demons). At the end a few guests told their personal angel experiences.
