Ghana: Heavenly Tribal Messiah Workshop and Blessing
By Marthe Whyte, FFWPU Ghana
Heavenly tribal Messiah Blessing workshops and blessing ceremonies were held in three communities of the Northern Region of Ghana around the end of March 2019.
In the very remote area from the South of Ghana a blessed couple, Mr. and Mrs. Osei spent two weeks to lay the foundation for the blessing of 57 couples in Bimbila/Nanumba in the Northern District of Northern Region of Ghana.
Before giving the blessing, the couple organized a 1-day workshop for 30 selected young people in 10 communities. These people helped to serve as communities leaders especially for the translation of the content of the lectures in local language.
On March 28, 2019, we had the first blessing ceremony in the community of Tandalk for 30 couples. On March 29, we had the second blessing ceremony in Sagon community with 17 couples. Finally, on April 5, 2019, we had the third blessing ceremony for 10 couples.
During the blessing event, two community leaders received award as Ambassadors for Peace in their region.
Although, many participants attended most of our Blessing education programs in this region, a great number of couples could not receive blessing because the majority of the couples are unfortunately polygamous.
More communities are still on the list to be visited.
