Russia: Celebration of International Mother Language Day

Prepared by FFWPU Russia

A program devoted to International Mother Language Day was held on February 21 in the Sverdlovsk Regional International Library in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

The event, held under the theme “The Language of the People is the Color of Their Entire Spiritual Life,” was attended by our brothers and sisters, who read poems and sang songs in Farsi, Hebrew, Yakut, Buryat and Kyrgyz languages.

Through this program we became more closely acquainted with the representatives of the national diasporas of Yekaterinburg and outlined ways of future cooperation. How wonderful that our movement unites people of different nationalities!
