Zambia: True Families Movement

The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification Zambia in conjunction with Women’s Federation for World Peace Zambia Chapter held their monthly outreach program to their members on the 29th September 2018. The event took place at Mr. George and Mrs. Evelyn Mulenga’s family in Kanyama Township, Lusaka. The program includes prayers, Hoon Dok Hae, presentation of new baby and gifts from different families to the host family and sharing a meal with them.
In their new baby born as they first had a new family member; a baby girl who was 6 weeks old by the day of our visit.
It was an opportunity to congratulate them on the birth of their fourth born child Soo-Jin Natasha Mulenga, and to share ideas based on the True Family Movement motto: “Forgive, love and Unite”.
The True Families Movement in Zambia is an ongoing program to encourage blessed families. The theme “Forgive, Love and Unite (FLU) and the goal is to create an environment of witnessing by reaching out to families and their neighbors.
The purpose of the program is to encourage and inspiring in a way of bringing families together. Many families now appreciate the fact that now they can use that forum to visit each other and share the True Parents words and love.
They are determined to spread the FLU to their neighbors and their communities. In their vote of thanks, Mr. and Mrs. Mulenga the hosts expressed their profound joy for this gesture and thanked all the visitors for their presents and the visit.
The program ended with a prayer followed by 3 Cheers of Eok Mansei…
