Cote d’Ivoire: YSP-Dream Week
Prepared by YSP Cote d’Ivoire
YSP Cote d’Ivoire, as part of its training program for members of the Bureau, organized a conference on October 20, 2018 at the national headquarters to provide solutions to young people in two plans, namely the development of their project of society and the training of future leaders able to mount and execute projects.
This program called Dream week is a project of YSP-Cote d’Ivoire that wants to support young people in the preparation of their professional career. The conference was animated by professionals in the field. First, the Yopougon youth employment agency head, which is a government structure, presented the framework created by the government for monitoring young graduates. In his presentation, he focused on two aspects: first, helping young people to get a job and then training for self-employment.
The second speaker was JCI President Yamoussoukro himself a member of YSP-Cote d’Ivoire. He explained the different steps to set up a project and invited young people to get together to bring development through the projects of companies.
The participants left happy with the lighting provided by the two speakers. A monitoring committee was set up to enable young people to register on the website of the youth employment agency and then train the various groups with well-developed projects to file with state structures.
To end the day, YSP members stayed at the headquarters for a vigil to repent and to make a new start in perfect unity with Our True Mother. We also prayed for the success of YSP in our country, YSP Africa and all over the world.
The first Dream Week of YSP Cote d’Ivoire was a success. The next is scheduled for November.
