By Marthe Whyte, WFWP Ghana
WFWP Ghana was invited by the queen mother of Gada community which is located in kasoa ,a suburb of Accra in Ghana.
On April 8, 2018, some representatives of WFWP Ghana lead by the president met about 35 people in the community for a talk on character education based on family values. The main topic was ‘’ The family as the school of love and peace.’’
We used also the forum to promote True Parents blessing activity in the world; inviting all the participants to take part in the festival of blessing of marriage by True Parents of all mankind.
The participant listened attentively to the presentation that was being translated in the local language for better understanding. The participants showed their interest by asking many questions during the lecture.
The participants watched a video about the Blessing entitled ‘’the power of true love’’. While watching, they received explanation about the ceremony as well. All the participants were excited about what they saw and learned and they were happy about the teaching.
At the end of the program, the queen mother urged us to follow up and help all the participants to take part in the blessing ceremony with their partners because most participants did not have their spouse attending the program. We will return to the community later in a few weeks.
