Ghana: HIV/AIDS Lectures at Schools

WFWP Ghana had the opportunity to visit two schools in Accra before the Christmas break. Right now all the schools are on vacation and will resume in the second week of January for most schools.

On December 13, 2017, WFWP team went to ASOFA SDA School. They educated the pupils and students of the Primary and Junior High School. In all, 205 students received  the education.

On December 14, 2017, we went to LIZERBETH School and educated 103 students from Primary and Junior High School.

In Conclusion in December, 308 students were educated about the danger of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.

On the other hand, WAIT CLUB has been officially launch in one school in Tantra Hill on Friday, 8th December. That day, sixty students filled the membership form and the were introduced to the club and had power point presentation on activities of WAIT UK. Miss Diana Joo Yeon is managing the activities for now, hoping to see more second generation helping her very soon.
