Brazil: Peace Road 2017

On on August 27, 2017, we held Peace Road 2017 in São Paulo. We also held the event in other 3 cities (Rio de Janeiro-RJ, Garden and Guia Lopes da Laguna-MS.) at the same time.
In São Paulo, 120 members left the Headquarters-Brazil marched to the Ibirabuera Park and the Monument to the Immigrant (important points of the city). There were several members with bicycles.
In the city of Jardim-MS, more than 100 members made the journey between the cities of Jardim and Guia Lopes da Laguna-MS.
In Brazil, the event was enthusiastically performed by all the members who participated, singing many songs that talk about harmony and peace, especially the song Urie So wonun Tongil, throughout the course people stopped to watch and support the march.
All together we had 313 participants who marched 110km: In São Paulo (SP), Parque Ibirapuera,120 participants who marched 25km, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ) Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, 30 participants who marched 8 km, in Campo Grande (MS), Cene, 50 participants who marched 10 km, and in Jardim e Guia Lopes da Laguna, 113 participants who marched 12km.
In Jardim-MS, among our participants we had the Secretary of Culture, Prof. Edson César Fernandes and the Councilman of Jardim, Pastor Daniel. They gave the opening remarks and took part in the cycling tour. The Mayor of Guia Lopes da Laguna, Jair Scapini welcomed the cyclists in the main square of the city and thanked the FFWPU for his work for Peace.
We hope the peace movement inspired by True Parents, can expand here in Brazil and around the world more and more.
