Pakistan: National Youth Conference 2016

Youth Conference on “Youth for Peace and Countering Violent Extremism” in Islamabad, Pakistan had organized by Universal Peace Federation Pakistan, Young Parliamentarian Forum Pakistan and Chanan Development Association of Pakistan.
The chief guest was H.E. Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman, Minister of State for Federal Education, Professional Training and Interior. Welcome speech was given by H.E. Ms. Romina Khurshid Alam, member of National Assembly of Pakistan.
Chief Guest H.E. Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman, Minister of State for Federal Education, Professional Training and Interior said that many terrorist and ISIS now using the name of Muslim and fighting but actually they are not Muslim. Muslims are not terrorist. Pakistan is in side of Peace.
Key note speaker Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal former minister and MP of Nepal said that Increasing excessive individualism and immorality within young people, and indeed all people, are harming our future. We must find a solution to these misdirected youths falling into drugs, free sex, extremism, terrorism and harmful lifestyles. They are not only damaging their own future but also cost huge resources from the tax-payers as well as threatening human peace and security.
Addressing in the event, Mr. Haseeb Mohtashami, country representative of UNFPA said that now Pakistani youth should stand now for better world. Especially women should have stood in front position.
This 3 day National Youth Conference was organized to educate youth for Peace. 500 young people join the program from different sectors of society and field from nationwide selection. The program was held in very prestigious place National Library of Pakistan.
