On July 15 and 16 in Tacoma, Washington, a Step Up two-day workshop was led by Naokimi Ushiroda, president of the Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (CARP) USA. Fourteen young Unificationists participated and had an opportunity to empower their life by learning the seven CARP principles.

During the workshop, the participants joined seven sessions based on each CARP principle and interactively engaged to develop and share their ideas. Through the sessions, each participant could gain insight into their passion, strength, and potential, and eventually set a practical goal for their life.

The sessions included both pair sharing and group sharing formats, which encouraged each participant to be confident in expressing what they learned. “During these two days, participants had a moment of a big leap of growth for their life,” said Inchan Park, District Pastor of District 10.

“I really enjoyed the workshop and found it very helpful, said participant Jula Stafford, 28. “I feel I could resolve many things and make a new determination through it.”
