Uganda: Pure Love Camp

By YFWP Uganda: Youth Federation for World Peace Uganda organized a 7-day Pure Love Club camp during December 2~8, 2015. The camp had a total number of 42 high students from 14 schools ranging from 13 years to 18years.

The pure love club camp is an initiative to involve the youth in schools and bring them under True Parents love through the YFWP Uganda. This camp was the first convention of all pure love club members held after the school outreach activities in the whole year (2015).

The camp was centered on Introduction to Divine Principle, The Principles of Creation, the Fall of Man, Character Education and Career Guidance. Other topics covered include leadership development, debate competition, group discussions and lecture practice on the four realms of heart, classification of sin and the benefits of purity.

On December 8, 2015 the National Leader, Rev. Gimeyi Moses and the vice National Leader, Rev. Julius Tumwesigye graced the closing ceremony. They encouraged students to practice what they learnt in the camp and to pass on the information to their friends and parents.

At the end of the camp, Students shared their reflections which included:

  • Learning the principles of the universe and the feminine aspect of God.
  • Learning about the Actual meaning of the human fall and its consequences.
  • Learning the importance of keeping the relationship with God.
  • Joan Namulondo of Peace High School said, “I expected 100%…but i have got 99%. I wanted to know more about the Principle and really I got what i wanted…. Let’s live with the principle. ”

Finally students pledged to educate their parents, family members and friends about what they had learnt in the camp especially about the human fall

YFWP Uganda shall be holding the camp every end of year for all pure love club members.
