CAMEROON: Empowering the 2nd Generation’s Capacities
FFWPU Cameroon: Elder members of the 2nd generation were fully involved in a organizing a Sunday service on October 18, 2015. Their parents belong to a home group that is active in witnessing activities in Yaoundé.
There were four blessed families and their guests during this Sunday service. Among the participants, there were members from 2nd generation aged 2 to 23. The elder 2nd gen. members who attended forty day Divine Principle workshop coordinated the service and gave the sermon in presence of their parents.
This made the worship very animated. The parents found the service led by the second generation good and interesting. The younger members of the 2nd generation felt encouraged to also fully participate in the next times.
The second generation children’s involvement in activities is not only limited to Sunday services. They often follow their parents in home church areas during service for peace activities and witnessing in general. They have expressed their determination to do Heavenly Parent’s and True Parents` will throughout their lives.
