Peace Road Seminar in Malaysia
FFWPU Malaysia: On September 16, 2015, Malaysia has just successfully organize a Peace Road Seminar after the Peace Road 2015 event on 16 August 2015. A handful of 70 people came for the seminar, at Peace Embassy, in conjunction with 52th Malaysia Day and International Day of Peace. The audiences also celebrated True Parent’s 50th Anniversary of visiting to Malaysia.
The seminar started with a prayer. A message by Ban Ki-Moon was read in commemorating the UN Int’l Day of Peace which fell annually on 21, September. A short video on Peace Road Malaysia 2015 event was shown thereafter. Next, three sessions of speech presentations on Peace was delivered jointly by UPF and WFWP speakers.
Mr. Yutaka Yamada, International Director to Malaysia for UPF, FFWWPU and CARP speaks on the topic “The Road Map to Peace”. “The main point is to live for the sake of others,” said Mr Yutaka. Next speaker Professor Datin Dr. Rahman Bujang, President of Women’s Federation for World Peace Malaysia, strengthen the points of the importance of practicing peace in the family by giving a lively example of how she was able to at least achieve individual inner peace through showing love to her family. “It needs to be expend to the people around us, regardless of which race or religions we are.” She emphasized. Following speaker, Mr. Sudesh G. Balasubramaniam, Deputy President of Universal Peace federation of Malaysia, share the “Peace Principle” of UPF to the audiences.
The audiences was entertained and enchanted by the dance performance prepare by the 7 youth volunteers from Korea and Japan. With traditional attire from Korea, Japan, India, Malay, and China. The theme song from Peace Road Malaysia 2015, “Bersatu Impian Kita” (Malay version of Unity Song) was sang with the audiences singing along.
Closing remarks was given by Tan Sri Devaki Krishnan, President of Universal Peace Federation of Malaysia. The event ended with a group photo.
On 20 September 2015, Blessed family cerebrated True Parent’s 50th anniversary of visiting to Malaysia!
