New ways forward for UPF Karlsruhe
Karlsruhe, Germany, 16. November 2014
UPF Germany: Dieter Schuler, Seija Eck and Rüdiger Gräber accepted an invitation from Pastor Josef Athnahene to attend a worship Service in the Christ Resurrection church. The theme was ‘peace’. Half of the two-hour long service was led by the Christ Resurrection church, the other half by UPF.
The programme consisted of prayers, testimonies and Bible readings. The 22 members of the Christ Resurrection church danced rhythmically to the accompaniment of singing, percussion and drums, as an expression joy and enthusiasm.
Pastor Josef Athnahne delivered a short sermon; he had already announced that the presentation by UPF was to be the main event. Rüdinger Gräber from UPF gave a presentation about the MEPI (Middle East peace Initiative) that had taken place in May of last year. He had been an active participant and described his personal experiences and impressions.
Pastor Athnaheme was very inspired by the presentation, and at the end of the service stated warmly: ‘you are welcome in our community any time!’
